Job Description:

The Role

As a Director within the FundsNetwork Data Analytics and Insights squad, you will use your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to organize, explore, and analyze diverse datasets, extract valuable insights and weave these insights into compelling narratives for our external clients and internal partners. You and your team of consultants will operate within a broader squad, where you will be responsible for delivering insights to distribution teams of some of the largest asset managers in the industry. Successful directors are highly motivated self-starters who can quickly develop a positive relationship with sophisticated asset managers seeking to use our data to drive their business growth.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Demonstrated success in client-facing/consulting roles

  • Extensive hands-on experience analyzing large and varied data sets

  • Strong preference for candidates with a background in financial services, specifically in fund sales and distribution analytics

  • Proven success leading and directing the work of others

  • Ability to prioritize, manage and deliver a portfolio of projects and workstreams, tracking progress and communicating effectively along the way

  • Fast learner with a curious mind

  • Highly organized and detail-minded

  • High degree of proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, with a track record of getting large multi-faceted analyses completed efficiently and accurately

  • Effective business communication and presentation skills

The Team

The FundsNetwork Data Analytics and Insights team exists to provide our third party asset manager clients with distribution business intelligence to support the growth of their business. In addition to completing custom consulting projects for the some of the largest asset managers in the industry, our team shares on-platform sales trends through quarterly publications and webinars, and supports the data needs for our internal FundsNetwork partners.
