We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Credit Card Acquisition to lead and scale our new customer growth strategy for Santander Bank. This role is responsible for accelerating growth of the credit card portfolio through analytical strategies, driving execution of multi-channel acquisition campaigns, managing key stakeholder relationships, optimizing performance across digital and offline channels, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in digital marketing, performance analytics, and customer acquisition, and is passionate about using data to guide decisions and optimize outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a holistic credit card acquisition strategy, including target setting, budgeting, pricing, value proposition and offer creation, and campaign planning.
  • Own performance forecasting, measurement, and reporting; use data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Drive continuous funnel optimization through offer testing, audience segmentation, and creative experimentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, digital, compliance, risk) to ensure digital journeys are seamless, compliant, and effective.
  • Collaborate closely with product, risk, compliance, and technology teams to deliver on acquisition goals.
  • Monitor performance, generate insights, and adapt strategies to meet evolving business needs.
  • Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in credit card or consumer financial services.
  • Proven success in driving scalable customer growth strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Minimum:

$116,250.00 USD

Maximum:

$210,000.00 USD
