The Director of Product Management for Consumer Lending oversees the development, implementation, and management of consumer lending products. This role combines strategic vision and operational excellence, responsible for end-to-end product lifecycle management, product strategy alignment with business goals, and ensuring competitiveness within the lending landscape.
Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Define and drive the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for consumer lending, aligning with market needs and company goals.
  • Product Development and Lifecycle Management: Lead product development, from ideation to launch and scaling, focusing on customer experience, regulatory compliance, and profitability.
  • Market Analysis and Competitor Research: Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and risks for the lending product suite.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, risk, legal, and compliance teams to execute product initiatives, ensuring alignment and effective resource allocation.
  • Performance Tracking and Optimization: Monitor KPIs related to loan origination, portfolio health, and customer retention, implementing data-driven strategies to optimize performance.
  • P&L Ownership: Own the product’s profit and loss (P&L) statement, ensuring financial objectives are met and identifying opportunities for growth and cost savings.
  • Risk and Compliance Management: Ensure that all products comply with financial regulations, working closely with legal, compliance and risk management teams to maintain high standards of risk management.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Gather feedback from customers and stakeholders, incorporating insights into product improvements and innovation.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead and develop a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

This is a HYBRID/ON-SITE Role - Minimum of 3 days per week in office - either in Miami or Boston.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Finance or equivalent field. (Req)
Master's Degree in Business, Finance or equivalent field. (Pref)
Work Experience:

  • Experience: 10+ years in product management, with 5+ years in consumer lending or financial services.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex projects with a results-oriented approach.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Technical Acumen: Experience in digital lending platforms, data analytics, and agile development methodologies is preferred.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: Demonstrated ability to prioritize customer needs and translate them into effective product features and improvements.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience interacting at the executive level.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Minimum:

$116,250.00 USD

Maximum:

$210,000.00 USD
