As a Director of Product, ELA at Kiddom you’ll be part of a close-knit cross-functional team including engineering, design, product marketing, content, sales and customer success—working together to build a truly impactful platform. You will drive Kiddom’s goal of making high-quality ELA curricula both accessible and user-friendly, reducing the friction of implementation and ensuring better outcomes for students. Your product development work will innovate on both the teacher and student experience—creating innovative tools for an interactive experience, partnering with AI senior researchers to build AI tools, scaffolding for diverse learners, and new ways to visualize student progress in real-time.
You will be the loudest champion using your business acumen and in-depth understanding of our customers to set a clear vision and strategy for your projects. Your skills will be put to the test navigating complex state adoption requirements as well as navigating large XXm district sales. Our GTM teams will thrive working with you ownership and independence.
You have extensive experience setting an agile roadmap and bringing products to market and passion for building product experiences that impact teachers and students. A background in education and/or edtech is ideal but not required.

You will...
- Become an expert on your product area (ELA) through market research, GTM feedback, data driven insights, creating product differentiation to most impactfully serve customer needs,.
- Develop a strategic plan for building a best-in-class ELA product in partnership with Partner curriculum. You will propose the principles, roadmap, resourcing structure, and go-to-market approach necessary to realize an engaging, impactful, and scalable ELA product solution
- Responsible for guiding products throughout the state adoption cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions for districts across the country.
- Experiment with new tools to advance the boundaries of how education leaders understand and guide their schools, staff, and students
- Transition a traditionally paper driven curricular experience to a transformative best in class digital experience.
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of relevant experience in product management
- Ideally experience in both Education and Education Technology
- Experience at a quickly growing startup
- Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle of a product: both digital and physical goods.
- The ability to balance stakeholder needs, market opportunity, innovation, and moving quickly.
- The ability to influence, lead, motivate, justify, and simplify.
Salary range is dependent on geographic location, prior experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process.
