  • Orchestrate, create, and oversee high-quality product and technical content including solution briefs, technical blogs, product datasheets, videos, and presentations.
  • Be the internal expert on market trends, customer needs, buyer personas, and the competitive landscape.
  • Orchestrate product capabilities into market-facing narratives in partnership with product management.
  • Accountable for alignment and communication of the quarterly product marketing plan with product management.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to represent the company at industry events, analyst briefings, and public forums.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from customers, sales, partners, and analysts to shape product messaging and asset needs.
  • Adept at translating product capabilities to business outcomes.
  • Lead and grow a team of product and technical marketers, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and performance metrics for the team.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 12+ years of experience in product, solution, or technical marketing roles in B2B technology companies. Other disciplines in marketing than these roles will not be considered.
  • 4+ years of leadership experience managing teams of 5 or more people, leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing enterprise software, SaaS, or technology products.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex products and communicate them effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Leadership experience in building and executing product marketing strategies, sales enablement programs, and technical content plans.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills across disciplines.
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing impactful marketing plans, strategies and programs, with proactive alignment and communication of marketing plans into product management.
  • Solid business rigor skills of program development, management, analysis and reporting.
  • Solid knowledge of key business drivers and the process for technology decision making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or equivalent experience preferred.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
