Who We Are

We Whiten was founded in 2020 on the belief that teeth whitening services should be accessible and simple. Our founder noticed a major gap within the existing dental industry – teeth whitening services were painful, priced incredibly high, and available only to some.

Now, we have 30+ teeth whitening studios located in 8 states and will soon be expanding into many more markets across the United States!

The role

We Whiten runs 25 cosmetic teeth whitening studios across Utah, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, and we're growing to 40 by 2028. Two things decide whether a studio wins: the market it's in and the person running it. We pick the markets. You make sure every studio has an A-player running it.

You'll build and run a recruiting system that fills every open seat fast, both new studios and backfills, and gets each hire through their first 90 days. This is not an HR seat. Payroll, benefits, policy and compliance belong to someone else. Your job is pipeline, selection, speed and early retention.

What you'll own
  • Speed to fill. Every role gets a days-to-fill target, and the number is yours. Studio Partner, Junior Studio Partner and Whitening Technician seats get filled before an empty seat costs a studio revenue.

  • A standing bench. Keep a live pipeline in every market so a resignation becomes a scheduling problem, not an emergency. Have talent ready in new markets before the doors open.

  • One repeatable system. Sourcing channels, job ads, screening, structured interviews, scorecards and offers, written down well enough to run in six-plus states without you on every call.

  • The hiring bar. Define what A+ looks like for each role and hold to it, even when a studio is short-staffed. A fast bad hire doesn't count as a fill.

  • The first 90 days. Onboarding, training handoffs, 30/60/90 check-ins and early-attrition tracking. If a hire quits in week six, that counts against you.

  • Recruiting spend. Own the budget across Indeed and every other channel, and know cost per hire by market and by source.

How you're measured

You report these numbers every week, and your bonus is tied to them:

  • Average days to fill, by role and market

  • Total open-seat days across all studios

  • 90-day retention of new hires

  • Hiring-manager rating of hire quality

  • Cost per hire

You're a fit if
  • You have 5+ years of high-volume, multi-location recruiting in retail, fitness, med spa, hospitality or sales organizations

  • You've built a recruiting function from scratch, not just run one someone else built

  • You can spot sales talent in a 15-minute screen

  • You know your pipeline numbers off the top of your head

  • You follow up the same day, every day

This role is not for you if
  • You want credit for effort when the result isn't there

  • You explain a missed number before you fix it

  • You'd lower the bar to make a deadline

  • You need layers of approval, or someone else to write the playbook

  • You're looking for a traditional HR job

Compensation
  • OTE: $80K–$120K, a base salary plus a performance bonus tied to fill speed and 90-day retention

  • Insurance: Health, Dental, Vision

  • 401(k): 5% company match

  • Reports to: CEO / Director of Operations

  • Location: Remote, Mountain Time hours

If you'd rather be judged on results than on activity, apply.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
