About the Role
We’re seeking a Director of Patient Growth Marketing to lead and scale Headway's patient growth efforts. In this role, you will own the strategy and execution for driving demand and acquiring new patients through both paid and owned channels. This is an opportunity to join a mission-driven company at a pivotal moment of growth and make a direct impact on access to mental healthcare.
You’ll lead a high-performing team and collaborate cross-functionally to design and execute marketing programs that accelerate patient acquisition. Your north star will be measurable growth within an efficiency guardrail, and you’ll bring the right mix of creativity, analytical rigor, and operational excellence to make that happen.
You Will:
- Own and scale the B2C patient acquisition engine across paid and owned channels.
- Hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing growth marketing team
- Define and execute the Patient growth marketing roadmap with clear goals, KPIs, and experimentation plans
- Identify new channels and tactics to unlock scalable and sustainable growth
- Collaborate with Product, Data, Brand, and Ops teams to optimize conversion and reduce friction across the funnel
- Build the marketing infrastructure to measure performance and maximize ROI
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to exec leaders on go-to-market strategy
You’d be a great fit if:
- Have 10+ years of experience in performance and growth marketing, with 3+ years in a leadership role at high-growth B2C tech companies
- Have deep expertise in paid digital (SEM, Social, affiliates), SEO and and conversion rate optimization
- Are data-driven — you can build dashboards, interpret performance signals, and drive action through insights
- Thrive in fast-paced environments and love testing, learning, and iterating quickly
- Are a hands-on leader who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels
Have experience building and coaching growth teams and fostering a culture of ownership and experimentation - Are a clear, compelling communicator who can influence cross-functionally and inspire teams toward a shared vision
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected base pay range for this position is $218,450 - $257,000, based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
