Who is Eleos Health?

The people who deliver care in our communities and homes do some of the most important work in healthcare. But too often, theyʼre asked to spend their time navigating paperwork, administrative burden, and problems they only discover after something has already gone wrong.

Eleos exists to change that.

Weʼre building the system of action for community-based care - helping behavioral health, hospice, home health, and other care teams spend less time reacting to problems and more time focused on the people they serve.

Powered by our Polaris AI, Eleos works alongside clinicians and their teams to understand whatʼs happening across care in real time and take action before issues become problems, reducing administrative burden, protecting revenue and compliance, and giving care teams more time and
capacity to deliver great care.

Our vision is a world where care teams can stay one step ahead, rather than constantly catching up. Weʼre helping shift an entire industry from reactive to proactive, and we need talented people to help us get there.

What’s the opportunity?

We are seeking a strategic, operationally rigorous Director of Partnerships & Business Development to build and lead Eleos’ partnerships function. Reporting to the Vice President of Growth, you will own partnership strategy and execution across our full partner portfolio, including state and regional behavioral health association partnerships, group purchasing organization (GPO) relationships, certification and credentialing body partnerships, white-label distribution partnerships, and GPO relationships supporting our expansion into home health and hospice. You will lead and develop a team of partnership managers, several of whom are already in place managing existing relationships, and you will be accountable for building the infrastructure this function needs to scale, including contract structures, Salesforce pipeline tracking, and partner ROI measurement. This is as much a build role as a leadership role: you’ll inherit a valuable network of relationships and help shape it into a more structured, measurable growth channel.

Who are you?

You are an operator who has built or significantly scaled a partnership, channel, or business development function before, ideally from an early or unstructured state, not only managed one that was already mature. You think in systems as much as relationships: you know how to structure a partner agreement, define what good partner performance looks like, and build the reporting that proves it. You have led people, and you are just as comfortable negotiating a contract directly as you are setting a multi-year vision for a partner ecosystem. You have navigated organizational complexity before, including absorbing an existing team member or relationship from another part of a business, and you know how to do that without disrupting the trust that has already been built. You are comfortable with ambiguity and energized by the opportunity to turn a loose collection of relationships into a real growth engine.

How will you contribute?

  • You’ll own partnership strategy and roadmap across Eleos’ full partner portfolio, including behavioral health association and GPO partnerships, certification body relationships, white-label distribution partnerships, and home health and hospice GPO partnerships.
  • You’ll build, formalize, and negotiate partnership agreements, including commercial terms, attribution methodology, and credit structures, replacing today’s informal arrangements with a consistent contract framework.
  • You’ll recruit, manage, and develop a team of partnership managers, including integrating an existing team member and partner relationship transitioning in from another part of the business.
  • You’ll implement Salesforce tracking and ROI measurement for partner-sourced pipeline across all verticals, where little to none currently exists.
  • You’ll serve as the primary cross-functional connector between partnerships and sales leadership, Revenue Operations, marketing, product, and Customer Success, and represent Eleos externally with senior stakeholders at partner organizations, associations, and GPOs.

What does success look like?

  • In your first 30 days: you will deliver a comprehensive assessment of the team and the state of the partnerships business, including the talent on the team, the health of existing partner agreements, and where tracking and reporting infrastructure is missing, along with preliminary recommendations for immediate changes.
  • In your first 90 days: you will be executing against a clear vision for the team and the partnerships vertical, with performance expectations set for your team and early progress visible on contract structure, Salesforce tracking, and partner ROI measurement.

What qualifications and skills will help you to be successful?

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or channel sales within healthcare or enterprise SaaS, including direct ownership of partnership strategy.
  • Has built or significantly scaled a partnership or channel function from an early, unstructured state, not only managed one that was already mature.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating and structuring commercial partnership agreements, including revenue share, attribution, and contract terms.
  • Prior people management experience, including leading a team through organizational change or integrating an existing team member or relationship into a new structure.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior external stakeholders, such as C-suite executives, association leadership, or GPO contacts.
  • Operationally minded, with direct experience implementing CRM tracking and ROI measurement where none previously existed.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and building process and infrastructure at startup pace.
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time, depending on the business needs

Some nice-to-haves are:

  • Understanding of the behavioral health, substance use, or home health and hospice provider markets.
  • Familiarity with state association, certification body, or GPO partnership structures within healthcare.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Experience operating in an early-stage (Series A or B) startup environment.
  • Background in healthcare RCM, patient engagement, or care management technology.

This is a unique opportunity to join a startup that has a meaningful impact on thousands' well-being and mental health.
This role offers:

  • A team of amazing people with a shared vision and the infinite drive to make it happen
  • The pay range for this position is $200,000 - $225,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on several factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, length of service, and geographic location.
