Location:                   Remote, USA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation:       $138,000-$172,000 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

Summary

 

As the Director, Partner Success, you will lead and manage the Partner Success team, ensuring the success of the OneStream partner ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing, supporting, and growing all skillsets within a portfolio of strategic partners, while also providing leadership, coaching, and performance management for a team of Partner Success Managers across NA, EMEA and APAC. This role blends people management, relationship management, enablement strategy, and operational excellence to help partners build scalable, high-performing, and self-sufficient practices.
You will bridge the gap between OneStream’s internal teams—such as customer success, partner alliances, and partner enablement—and its partners, overseeing both the functional and technical aspects of partner implementations. You will ensure partner needs are addressed promptly and thoroughly, foster lasting relationships, and drive continuous improvement across the Partner Success function. This includes project tracking, partner health and growth, partner programme tier levelling, measurement through scorecards, OnePass utilisation, and ensuring skill level certifications.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Team Leadership & Management
    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Partner Success Managers, setting clear objectives and providing regular feedback.
    • Oversee team performance, conduct regular one-to-ones, and support professional growth and development.
    • Allocate resources and assign partner portfolios to ensure optimal coverage and support.
    • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the Partner Success team.
  • Partner Relationship & Support
    • Act as the senior escalation point for partner issues, supporting your team in resolving complex challenges.
    • Guide the team in building and maintaining strong relationships with partners to drive successful OneStream implementations.
    • Oversee regular partner status calls and ensure consistent, high-quality communication with partners and internal stakeholders.
    • Provide strategic guidance on partner health, future planning, and programme development.
  • Project Oversight & Functional Support
    • Monitor and support partner-led implementations, ensuring adherence to project delivery standards and partner success.
    • Review project plans and provide recommendations to improve timelines and go-live success.
    • Support your team in identifying opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and adoption via functional enablement.
  • Enablement & Process Improvement
    • Lead the development and delivery of enablement materials, ensuring your team is equipped to support partners effectively.
    • Identify and implement opportunities to improve partner processes, efficiency, and proactive services.
    • Oversee the creation and rollout of SOP documentation and governance frameworks for partner projects.
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the vision and strategy for Partner Success.
    • Conduct gap analyses with alliances to build a robust framework for partner processes and project management.
    • Represent the Partner Success function in cross-functional initiatives and leadership forums.

 

 

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, or CIS, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing a team in a Partner Success, project management, or account management context.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a consulting or functional account management role, focused on software implementations for Corporate and Enterprise Performance Management (CPM/EPM) platforms.

 


Preferred Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology.
  • Professional accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CMA, CGA, CA), advanced degrees (MBA, MFA), and/or other relevant certifications.
  • Project management, programme management, or account management expertise.
  • Experience with SQL, C#, VB.net, or Visual Basic; object-oriented programming a plus.
  • Experience managing a globally dispersed team.
  • Prior experience in scalability and performance of Corporate/Enterprise Performance Management CPM/EPM software products such as
    • SAP Outlooksoft BPC, SAP BFC/ BOFC (Cartesis)
    • HFM (Hyperion Financial Management),FDM (Financial Data Quality Management) , UpStream, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase
    • IBM Cognos
    • Or other CPM/ EPM solutions

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent project and customer service skills.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to develop trust, deliver feedback, and drive team and partner success.
  • Organizational skills, diligence, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting processes and EPM/CPM solutions.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directs a global team of Partner Success Managers across North America, EMEA, and APAC, providing strategic leadership to ensure operational excellence and high-impact partner engagement.

 

Travel

Travel Requirement: Regular travel is not expected for this position, maybe 10%
