Job Description:
As the Director, Paid Search, you will lead the paid search strategy for B2B, B2C, and Public Sector audiences, leveraging your expertise to drive qualified leads, online visibility, and revenue growth. This role is critical in integrating generative AI search optimization across emerging AI platforms, while aligning with SEO to enhance overall search performance.

What you'll do:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive paid search strategy that addresses the unique needs of B2B, B2C, and Public Sector markets. Ensure the strategy aligns with broader marketing objectives and contributes to business growth.
- Generative Search Optimization:
- Develop strategy to leverage AI-powered search technologies to optimize presence in AI search platforms. Stay up to date with advancements in AI search platforms and integrate cutting-edge generative search methodologies to enhance visibility.
- SEO & Search Integration:
- Collaborate closely with SEO teams to ensure a seamless integration between paid search and organic search strategies. Drive a unified approach that maximizes overall search engine presence.
- Campaign Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns on platforms such as Google, Bing, and emerging AI-driven search engines. Ensure all campaigns meet KPIs and deliver measurable results.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of paid search professionals. Foster a collaborative, data-driven, and innovative environment that drives high performance and career growth.
- Data-Driven Decisions:
- Utilize advanced analytics to track campaign performance, reporting insights to stakeholders regularly. Use data to inform strategies, drive improvements, and make agile adjustments to campaigns.
- Budget & Resource Allocation:
- Manage the paid search budget effectively, optimizing resource allocation to ensure maximum ROI. Drive cost-efficiency while meeting performance targets.
- Cross-Channel Collaboration:
- Partner with social media, programmatic, and other digital marketing teams to create a cohesive multi-channel approach that drives traffic and conversions across all platforms.
Experience you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in generative AI search optimization and SEO integration.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in search platforms such as Google Ads, Bing, and AI search tools.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in paid search, with 8+ years in a leadership role focused on paid search.
Travel Requirements:
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $125,700- $155,200 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
