Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving growth and building impactful partnerships? As the Director of National Business Development for Manufactured Housing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing high-impact sales initiatives that directly contribute to the business’s financial success.

In this role, you’ll lead efforts to expand our market presence, attract new clients, and increase revenue through innovative strategies and targeted execution. You’ll collaborate closely with senior leadership to align business development activities with long-term strategic goals, while also identifying opportunities for competitive positioning and client retention.

This is a high-visibility role that requires a seasoned professional with strong judgment, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently while delivering measurable results.

This opportunity includes a competitive sales incentive program, along with a long-term incentive plan designed to reward sustained performance and strategic impact.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?  

  • Accelerate revenue growth in the Manufactured Housing sector by driving new sales, nurturing existing client relationships, and expanding strategic partnerships and distribution channels.
  • Design and lead a multi-channel sales strategy that effectively positions Manufactured Housing offerings across diverse markets and customer segments.
  • Establish a scalable, repeatable sales process that delivers consistent, industry-leading growth and aligns with business objectives.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and pricing models to identify revenue opportunities, support strategic decision-making, and monitor performance metrics.
  • Create and execute strategic and operational plans for business development and partnership teams, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Leverage CRM tools and data-driven insights to manage sales performance, track progress against targets, and optimize team effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by identifying high-potential opportunities and cultivating strong relationships with prospective clients.

What are the requirements needed for this position?  

  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in business development within the property and casualty insurance industry, with a demonstrated history of driving revenue growth and cultivating high-impact strategic partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of the manufactured housing industry, including key stakeholders such as manufacturers, lenders, agents, and community operators.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with C-level executives and navigating complex business and financial transactions within industry-specific distribution channels.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced business acumen and strategic thinking strongly preferred.
  • Effective leadership capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results through both formal and informal channels of influence.

  • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate sales strategies, plans, and results across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
  • Strong understanding of business and management principles as they relate to the sales process and strategic growth.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across departments, particularly with internal support services, to drive business outcomes.
  • Skilled in building relationships and engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to apply logic and reasoning to evaluate alternative solutions and approaches to complex business challenges.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to define and execute both short- and long-term goals that align with organizational objectives.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects and initiatives simultaneously.

  

How much should I expect to travel?  

  • Up to 60% travel

Pay Range:

$119,600.00 - $199,800.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
