Internal Job Title: Director, Orbis MES Services
Reports To: SVP, Customer Experience
FLSA Status: Exempt, Full Time
Location: US, Remote with travel as needed
Position Summary
The Director of MES Services oversees deployments of Ever.Ag’s Orbis MES solution to our world-wide customer base. This oversight will include coordinating service resources, ensuring on-time/on-budget delivery, successful customer outcomes, and organizational profitability. Key individual responsibilities include overseeing all service teams, including project management and Orbis technical consulting resources.
Key Responsibilities
Support pre-sales activities, including effort estimation and proposal development.
Review and validate project Statements of Work to ensure alignment with Ever.Ag project and pricing standards.
Oversee the creation and accuracy of project-related deliverables.
Review and distribute all portfolio project communications, ensuring clarity and correctness.
Maintain effective risk management practices across the project portfolio.
Ensure coordination between implementation and development teams for project-specific customizations.
Provide direct project management support as needed.
Oversee all assigned MES professional services teams, including project managers and subject matter experts.
Ensure the ongoing technical growth and Orbis knowledge attainment of the Orbis MES services team.
Engage effectively with Customer Support and Customer Success resources to ensure proper hand-offs within their respective processes.
Monitor and optimize team utilization to meet financial targets.
Oversee recruitment efforts for professional services staff.
Track and report key portfolio metrics and KPIs, such as utilization and margin analysis.
Assist with monthly invoicing and financial reconciliation for services.
Contribute to the development of methodologies and engineered service deliverables.
Support the design and launch of new service offerings.
Drive continuous improvement of professional services automation systems

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of four years’ relevant work experience REQUIRED
Experience leading MES implementation teams, preferably in food and/or CPG industries
Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope and budget
Ability to manage teams of 25+ professionals
Skilled in leading globally distributed teams
Experience deploying and scaling team skills to meet evolving project needs
Proficient in Microsoft-based technologies, especially SQL Server and Transact-SQL
Experience with Oracle’s NetSuite SuiteProjects Pro/OpenAir professional services automation technologies preferred.
Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
PMI-related certifications preferred.
