About Sittercity
Sittercity, a Bright Horizons company, is a technology platform that’s reimagining the childcare industry. We aim to simplify the process of finding, hiring, and managing high-quality, trustworthy childcare. At Sittercity, you can help design and implement solutions that will transform a multi-billion-dollar industry, providing much-needed relief to parents and care providers alike.
What You’ll Do
We’re looking for a full-stack marketing leader to own the entire marketing engine at Sittercity—spanning brand, creative, growth, lifecycle, and emerging AI-driven capabilities. This is not a traditional performance marketing role. You will define how Sittercity shows up in the world, how we tell our story, and how we translate that into scalable, measurable growth. You will sit on the Sittercity Leadership Team, partnering directly with executive leadership across Product, Engineering, Corporate, and Operations. You’ll play a central role in shaping company strategy, driving revenue, and building a durable, differentiated brand in a historically under-innovated category.
Responsibilities
End-to-End Marketing Strategy & Revenue
- Own the full marketing funnel across B2B2E and DTC—from brand awareness through acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.
- Define and execute a holistic growth strategy that integrates brand, performance, product-led growth, partnerships, and lifecycle.
- Translate company priorities into clear marketing roadmaps tied to revenue, marketplace liquidity, and long-term customer value.
- Serve as a key voice in company-level strategy and planning as a member of the Leadership Team.
Brand, Creative & Storytelling
- Own and evolve the Sittercity brand—including positioning, voice, visual identity, and narrative across all touchpoints.
- Lead creative strategy and production, ensuring performance marketing and brand marketing operate as a unified system.
- Build a high-performing creative engine that continuously tests, learns, and scales winning messaging across channels.
- Partner with Communications and Corporate Marketing to shape external storytelling, PR, and category positioning.
Growth, Demand Generation & Lifecycle
- Lead omnichannel acquisition strategies across paid, organic, partnerships, and emerging channels.
- Build and scale lifecycle marketing programs across both sides of the marketplace (families and caregivers) as well as enterprise partners.
- Drive product-led growth by partnering with Product and Engineering to optimize onboarding, engagement, and retention.
- Develop experimentation frameworks across channels, landing pages, onboarding flows, and messaging.
AI-First Marketing & Innovation
- Embed AI across the marketing stack—from creative generation and personalization to media optimization and customer insights.
- Identify and implement tools and workflows that increase speed, efficiency, and marketing impact.
- Use AI to unlock new growth levers, including predictive targeting, automated lifecycle journeys, and dynamic content systems.
- Position Sittercity at the forefront of modern, AI-enabled marketing practices.
Data, Analytics & Performance
- Own marketing performance, attribution, and forecasting across all channels and segments.
- Partner with BI and Analytics to build a best-in-class measurement framework that connects brand and performance outcomes.
- Ensure disciplined investment across channels, balancing short-term efficiency with long-term brand equity.
- Translate insights into clear, actionable strategies that drive continuous improvement.
Leadership & Team Building
- Build and lead a high-performing, full-stack marketing team spanning growth, lifecycle, brand, and creative.
- Develop talent across both analytical and creative disciplines, raising the bar for modern marketing capability.
- Foster a culture of ownership, experimentation, speed, and accountability.
- Manage and evolve external partners and agencies as an extension of the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications (Google Ads, Meta Blueprint) are a plus.
- 7-10 years of experience in performance marketing across paid, earned and owned channels, with a proven track record of managing and scaling profitable campaigns.
- Hands on experience with full funnel campaigns including broadcast media, Google, Meta, paid and organic social, as well as demand gen tactics such as SEO/AEO/GEO with a focus on DTC e-commerce
- Experience managing lifecycle programs.
- Deep familiarity with digital marketing and customer acquisition metrics and attribution including LTV, CAC/CPA, CPC, CPM, and ROAS optimizing for improving profitability.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and turn insights into strategies.
- Experience managing multi-channel ad budgets and optimizing for KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CTR, and CVR.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.).
- A collaborative, results-oriented mindset, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional, people first leader, able to coach teams to be their best.
- Familiarity with the childcare or family services industry is a plus but not required.
- Experience effectively leading cross-functional teams and creating alignment for revenue impact.
