We are seeking a Director of Marketing to define and lead OM1’s product marketing strategy across its portfolio of data, registry, and phenOM-powered solutions. This is a senior individual contributor role with broad ownership, executive visibility, and material influence, with direct responsibility for hands-on development and execution of core product marketing assets and go-to-market initiatives.
In this role, you will serve as the connective tissue between product, commercial, marketing, and executive leadership. You will shape OM1’s core product narratives, establish messaging and go-to-market frameworks, and act as an advisor on market opportunity, competitive positioning, and customer value. While this role does not include people management, it carries functional leadership responsibility and sets the standard for product marketing excellence across the organization.

What You’ll Do at OM1Product Marketing Strategy & Portfolio Positioning- Own and evolve OM1’s product marketing vision, strategy, and operating approach across the full product portfolio.
- Define portfolio-level positioning, value propositions, and narrative frameworks that clearly articulate OM1’s differentiated value in the market.
- Establish and maintain consistent messaging architecture across products, platforms, and customer segments.
- Serve as a thought partner to Product and Executive Leadership, bringing market, customer, and competitive insights to inform product strategy and prioritization.
- Lead go-to-market strategy for major product launches, platform enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Commercial, Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to align launch planning, execution, and outcomes.
- Define launch goals, success metrics, and measurement frameworks to assess impact and continuously improve GTM performance.
- Ensure sales and customer-facing teams are equipped with clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging and enablement materials.
- Translate complex technical, scientific, and data-driven capabilities into clear, compelling, and credible narratives for diverse audiences.
- Develop and maintain core messaging frameworks, pitch decks, sales enablement assets, and executive-level presentations.
- Support high-impact commercial opportunities with tailored messaging, narratives, and materials.
- Act as a steward of OM1’s product story, ensuring consistency and clarity across all customer-facing touchpoints.
- Lead customer, market, and competitive research efforts to inform positioning, messaging, and GTM decisions.
- Synthesize insights from customer conversations, industry events, and market trends into actionable recommendations for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor competitive dynamics and evolving buyer needs to proactively adjust strategy.
- Represent OM1 externally through conference presentations, webinars, customer meetings, and industry forums as appropriate.
- Partner with internal teams to develop thought leadership content such as blogs, articles, case studies, and presentations aligned to OM1’s product narrative.
- Build credibility for OM1 by articulating its product vision and value with confidence and authority.
Strategic Leadership
- Demonstrated ability to define and lead product marketing strategy at a portfolio or platform level.
Healthcare & Complex Technology Experience
- Deep experience in healthcare technology, real-world data, analytics platforms, life sciences, or similarly complex domains.
- Strong understanding of data-driven products, evidence generation, registries, AI/ML-enabled analytics, or healthcare workflows preferred.
Communication & Storytelling Experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
- Proven ability to craft compelling, credible narratives in competitive and regulated markets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Extensive experience partnering with Product, Sales, Commercial, Scientific, and Marketing teams.
- Track record of leading through influence rather than formal authority.
Insight Driven Mindset
- Experience conducting and synthesizing customer research, market analysis, and competitive intelligence.
- Ability to translate insights into clear strategic and tactical direction.
Education & Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of product marketing or closely related experience, ideally within healthcare, life sciences, or complex technology environments.

Salary Range: $135,288 - $162,345
This range reflects the expected base salary for this position. Final compensation is based on factors such as relevant experience, expertise, location, and internal equity.
