ABOUT THE ROLE… 
If you thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and have a passion for creating innovative, results-driven marketing strategies, this role is for you. 
As Director of Marketing, you will lead the strategy and execution of our marketing efforts for a fast-growing SaaS company where solution selling and evangelism are critical. You’ll build our brand, drive demand generation, and position us as a trusted market leader. 
This role, reporting into our Chief Commercial Officer, combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, leveraging AI tools and managing freelancers to deliver impactful campaigns. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to align efforts with company goals and drive measurable revenue growth. 
This role requires 25% travel.  
 
IMPORTANT RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Narrative Architect & Visual Storyteller Craft and maintain a clear, consistent brand narrative that resonates with our target market. Develop compelling content that showcases customer success, product value, and industry insights—brought to life through strong messaging and impactful visuals. This role is instrumental in shaping our voice and visual identity to build brand awareness, earn trust, and drive engagement. 

Digital Marketing & Analytics Lead  Own and optimize our core digital marketing channels—including SEO, content marketing, email, paid media, and marketing automation—to support our focused go-to-market strategy. This role is accountable for improving performance across key metrics such as CAC, LTV, and conversion rates to maximize marketing ROI. 

Lead Advocacy & Influence Initiatives  Develop and execute programs that amplify our message and reinforce Digimarc’s leadership in our priority domains. Identify and empower key influencers and early adopters to become vocal advocates. Through targeted outreach and meaningful engagement, expand our reach, strengthen market trust, and position Digimarc as a category leader. 
 
WHAT YOU WILL DO… 

·      8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a proven track record in demand generation and driving measurable results in a SaaS environment.
·      Expertise in planning, managing, and executing:
o   SEO and SEM (e.g., Google Ads, analytics tools)
o   Social media (content creation, platform management: LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
o   Email marketing (nurturing campaigns, automation)
o   Digital campaigns (LinkedIn Campaign Manager, retargeting, etc.)
·      Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
·      Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
·      Creative thinker who can balance big-picture vision with hands-on execution.
·      Experience in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment is a plus.

PAY RANGE
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $200K - $230K with a 20% bonus and restricted stock units. 
This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set, experience, training, licensure, certifications, geography and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
