Reporting to the Vice President of Field Marketing, the Director of Military Solutions will utilize skills and experience in B2B and B2C to oversee military-related activities, develop and implement strategies for growing transfer articulation agreements across military installations, and undertakes targeted research and development related to Military communities.  The Director of Military Solutions will develop strategies, programs, marketing, processes, and procedures that will assist in the enrollment growth and support of military affiliated student populations. 

Responsibilities

  • Consult with college and military partners to deepen your understanding of their needs, decision-making and structure to uncover meaningful strategies that unlock greater results and build the blue-print for military readiness at select university partners. 

  • Be the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders and build a network of champions across your partners by growing your role as a trusted advisor, anticipating needs and challenges and quickly acting to address them.

  • Establish a regular and organized schedule of engagement with partners to understand their needs and shape demand for military aligned products and pathways.

  • Develop marketing engagement plans to ensure well-performed communication of Risepoint partner offering and value propositions to prospective  learners.

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment and outreach strategies to increase veteran and active military enrollments.

  • Build strategic territory outreach plans to recruit military affiliated populations including, service members (active, guard and reserve), veterans, and the family members of service members and veterans.

  • Forecast and achieve growth targets. Conduct ongoing and annual analysis military partnerships, channels and overall performance by gathering and analyzing data, metrics, analytics, and other relevant partner information to inform current and future opportunities.

  • Keeps abreast of Department of Defense organizational structure and its educational initiatives and partnerships. Knowledge and application of current and best practices in Military/Department of Veteran Affairs educational programs, processes and funding including state regulations of military recruitment.      

Knowledge Required

  • Federal, State, and local veteran laws, programs and services.

  • Principles and practices of program development and administration specific to the needs of veterans. 

  • Advanced use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite Applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and working knowledge of Salesforce, Tableau and other tools used for management and reporting and a willingness to learn new technology to streamline assignments and/or projects.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, independent worker, effective planning, strong execution and ownership with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and evolving priorities.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individual of constituencies in a diverse community. Excellent presentation skills, particularly for external audiences.

Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 years experience required.
