What We’re Looking For:

Kooth is looking for a technically fluent, operationally strong Director of Marketing Operations to design, optimize, and run our U.S. martech systems and team. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll build and lead the infrastructure that fuels our growth and lifecycle marketing, while guiding a small but agile team across marketing automation, CRM workflows, email operations, and cross-functional project intake.

You’ll take ownership of our martech stack — including HubSpot (all Hubs), Contentful, MMPs (AppsFlyer), and ASO tools (AppRadar) — ensuring systems are seamlessly integrated, workflows are scalable, and data flows transparently across teams and cross-departmental platforms like Braze and SFDC.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Martech Infrastructure & System Integrations

Own the U.S. marketing tech stack, ensuring all tools (MMPs, CRM, CMS, ASO, email, analytics) are integrated, reliable, and optimized for performance with a long term view of global stack alignment.

  • Lead ongoing administration of platforms including:
    • HubSpot (CRM, automation, forms, email, web content)
    • Contentful (web content management, app content management)
    • Mobile Measurement and Optimization Platforms (e.g., AppsFlyer; AppRadar)
    • Project Management systems (e.g., Monday, Wrike)
    • Translation Management systems (e.g., Smartling, Phrase)
  • Lead system integration support of cross-department and global platforms including:
    • Braze (customer engagement and lifecycle automation)
      • Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure API connections, data syncs, and schema alignments are implemented and maintained properly.
    • Salesforce (data sync, lead lifecycle, and commercial ops interface)

Attribution & Performance Tracking

  • Maintain cross-platform attribution models to track user acquisition and engagement across paid, owned, earned, and in-app channels in partnership with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams.
  • Manage custom event tracking frameworks, UTMs, and conversion goals across web and app properties.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting infrastructure to provide the marketing team with real-time visibility into channel performance and lifecycle KPIs.

Web, App, and CRM Systems Management

  • Own technical infrastructure of solunaapp.com and other Soluna web properties (via Contentful and Hubspot Content Hub), ensuring marketing teams can launch campaigns and update content efficiently.
  • Manage end-to-end CRM operations within HubSpot, including segmentation logic, data hygiene, lead scoring, and cross-team workflows.
  • Optimize app store presence and performance through ASO tooling and cross-functional coordination with product.

Process Engineering & Operational Scalability

  • Document and continuously improve campaign processes, QA protocols, test plans, and lead/data flow audits.
  • Build scalable playbooks to support campaign automation, app engagement, and web conversion strategies.
  • Serve as a primary technical liaison for all marketing-related platform vendors and agency partners.

RequirementsWhat You’ll Bring:
  • 7+ years in marketing operations, revenue operations, or growth systems roles within digital product, SaaS, or app-based environments.
  • Expertise in marketing tech stack design and integration across multiple platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Contentful, Braze, SFDC, AppsFlyer/Adjust).
  • Deep understanding of data architecture, including custom event tracking, API integrations, and CRM → product → analytics workflows.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement attribution frameworks and marketing performance reporting dashboards (Looker, Tableau, or similar).
  • Experience optimizing mobile acquisition flows and ASO performance.
  • Fluency in key growth marketing concepts: LTV, CAC, cohort analysis, segmentation, funnel conversion, and re-engagement.
  • Bonus Points For
    • Experience working in HIPAA-compliant environments or health tech contexts.
    • Familiarity with behavioral health, public sector programs, or K–12/higher ed ecosystems.
    • Experience supporting multilingual/multicultural products (e.g., Spanish/English web/app content).

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
