We are seeking a Director, Marketing Operations to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA office.
Job Summary
The Director, Marketing Operations will serve as the strategic backbone of our marketing organization. This role is ideal for a data-driven, process-oriented person who thrives at the intersection of marketing technology, analytics, and performance optimization. This role will be the central energy ensuring our marketing engine runs efficiently, is scalable, and has a measurable business impact. The Director, Marketing Operations won't just build dashboards - they will drive decision-making across every marketing function. They will own the end-to-end lead flow process, and ensure we are constantly improving our performance with data at the core.

Required Qualifications
This position offers a total compensation range of $248,000.00 to $258,000.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities
Own Marketing Performance & Analytics
- Define and track key marketing metrics (MCL to MQL, pipeline contribution, ROI, conversion rates).
- Build dashboards and reporting frameworks that bring visibility to marketing's impact.
- Provide research and actionable insights to Marketing, Sales, and Executive Leadership.
Drive Marketing Data Strategy
- Own the integrity and flow of data across marketing systems (MAP, CRM, attribution tools).
- Partner with Sales Ops to ensure data alignment and SLA accountability.
- Build data models that forecast marketing performance and pipeline contribution.
Optimize Lead Management & Funnel Performance
- Design and manage lead scoring, routing, and nurture workflows.
- Ensure smooth handoffs between Marketing and Sales and track conversion performance.
- Continuously evaluate funnel performance and drive improvements across all stages.
MarTech Strategy & Infrastructure
- Own the marketing technology stack; evaluate, implement, and integrate tools as needed.
- Ensure systems are optimized and aligned to business goals and workflows.
- Run user training and ensure team adoption of key tools.
Process Excellence & Operational Rigor
- Standardize campaign operations across teams with defined processes and SLAs.
- Drive quarterly planning and budgeting processes, ensuring accountability to performance.
- Enable campaign execution teams with scalable frameworks and best practices.
- Other duties as assigned and required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree in Marketing or MBA is preferred with focus on Marketing, Operations or Analytics.
- 8+ years of experience in Marketing Operations or related roles, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in marketing analytics, funnel performance, attribution modeling, and data storytelling.
- Sound command of modern marketing tech stacks (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce, Bizible, Google Analytics, Tableau).
- Proven track record of operationalizing data to drive performance across teams.
- Excellent cross-functional partnership skills, especially with Sales Ops and Revenue Marketing/Demand Gen.
- Solid project management skills and a bias toward process, structure, and outcomes.
- Experience in a fast-paced B2B environment; SaaS or tech sector preferred.
