Renewa is a leading land and infrastructure investor in the renewable energy industry. We help accelerate the transition to renewable energy by purchasing land, energy leases and royalty income – helping landowners achieve financial security and providing long-term capital solutions to project developers.

Renewa is managed by one of the most experienced infrastructure investment teams in the world, with $20 billion of infrastructure investments globally. Our experience, financial strength and innovative approach to capital solutions means we can make bold commitments and consistently deliver on our promises to landowners and project developers.

Our culture is highly collaborative, innovative, friendly and inclusive. We believe that everyone brings something to the table, and value everyone for their contributions. Each of our team members actively contributes to our purpose of Leading the Energy Transition from the Ground Up!

The Role

This is a rare opportunity to own the voice of a high-conviction investment platform from the ground up. As Director of Marketing & Communications, you'll build Renewa's brand and market position — translating complex investment strategies into clear, credible narratives that resonate with institutional audiences, counterparties, and the broader energy market. You'll work closely with firm leadership and the investment team, operate with significant autonomy, and leave a lasting imprint on how Renewa is known in the market.

What You'll Do

Brand & Market Positioning

  • Define and own Renewa's brand voice, visual identity, and market narrative across all channels and audiences.
  • Translate complex investment strategies and deal structures into compelling, accessible stories for institutional and external audiences.
  • Develop positioning frameworks that differentiate Renewa in a competitive and rapidly evolving energy investment landscape.

Thought Leadership & Content Strategy

  • Build and execute a thought leadership strategy that establishes Renewa as a credible, informed voice in energy infrastructure and land investment.
  • Produce high-quality content — white papers, market commentary, pitch materials, and digital content — in partnership with the investment team.
  • Manage an editorial calendar that keeps Renewa active, relevant, and consistent in the market.

Digital Presence & Media

  • Oversee Renewa's website, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms — ensuring they reflect current positioning and generate meaningful engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant media outlets, journalists, and industry publications.
  • Manage earned media, press releases, and proactive PR outreach around firm milestones, transactions, and market perspectives.

Conference & Events Strategy

  • Identify, prioritize, and manage Renewa's presence at key industry conferences and events.
  • Prepare firm leadership for speaking engagements, panels, and investor-facing appearances.
  • Develop event materials and follow-up strategies that convert visibility into relationships.

Investment Team Partnership

  • Partner closely with the investment team to develop tailored materials for counterparty outreach, LP communications, and deal-specific marketing needs.
  • Support capital formation efforts with investor presentation materials, data rooms, and targeted communication strategies.
  • Maintain a library of up-to-date marketing collateral that the deal team can deploy efficiently.
Qualifications
  • 7–10+ years of experience in institutional investment marketing, financial services communications, or a closely related field.
  • Prior experience at an investment manager, private equity firm, infrastructure fund, or energy company strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional writer — able to make dense financial and technical content clear, credible, and engaging for sophisticated audiences.
  • Strong strategic instincts with the ability to build a marketing function from a lean foundation.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with limited structure and high expectations.
  • Experience managing external agencies, designers, and vendors to produce high-quality output efficiently.
  • Familiarity with energy, infrastructure, or real assets markets is a meaningful plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — you see the blank canvas as an opportunity, not a gap.
