We’re always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.

About the Role:

The Director of Marketing Analytics will play a key role in achieving our mission by turning CrowdStrike’s rich data into insights that accelerate pipeline, revenue, and platform adoption. You will build and manage a small marketing analytics team that partners closely with Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, Field & Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, as well as cross-functionally across GTM analytics teams to:

  • Define how we measure success across the full go-to-market funnel

  • Provide clear, actionable insight into where to invest and how to optimize

  • Connect marketing activity directly to key funnel and revenue metrics including pipeline, ARR, CAC and retention.

You are comfortable going deep into the data and presenting the insights and recommendations in a clear, concise and actionable manager to all key stakeholders and senior executives.

What You'll Do:

Strategy & Leadership

  • Help define the global marketing measurement framework from top of funnel to customer acquisition and expansion,  including core KPIs, definitions, and governance.

  • Develop and drive a multi-year analytics roadmap that supports CrowdStrike’s growth strategy, including AI-driven insights and experimentation approaches.

  • Build, lead, and mentor a marketing analytics team; set goals, establish processes, and foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement. Work collaboratively across GTM analytics teams to ensure a common set of data, definitions and measurements across the funnel.

  • Serve as a key advisor to the CMO and marketing leadership, translating complex data into clear recommendations and trade-offs.

Performance Measurement & Insights

  • Design and operationalize dashboards and reporting that provide real-time visibility into marketing performance across channels, segments, regions, and products..

  • Lead analysis of full-funnel performance (awareness, engagement, MQL, SQL, pipeline, bookings, module adoption, ARR) to identify growth opportunities and performance gaps.

  • Develop and maintain a GTM and marketing attribution model to measure program ROI and inform budget allocation and channel mix decisions.

  • Partner with the Demand Generation and Digital teams to run structured experiments (A/B tests, incrementality tests) and provide statistically rigorous recommendations.

Revenue & Forecasting

  • Collaborate with Sales, RevOps, Alliances and Finance on pipeline diagnostics, forecasting, and scenario modeling for marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline and ARR.

  • Build models that link marketing inputs (spend, campaigns, programs) to outputs (pipeline, ARR, retention/expansion) at segment and product levels.

  • Provide executive-ready insights for QBRs, board materials, and planning cycles, highlighting what’s working, what’s not, and where to invest next.

Storytelling & Change Management

  • Turn data into compelling narratives that influence senior stakeholders and drive action.

  • Educate and enable the broader marketing organization on metrics, dashboards, and how to use data in planning and execution.

  • Advocate for a data-informed culture while balancing quantitative insight with market context and customer understanding.

What You'll Need:

  • 15+ years in marketing analytics, business intelligence, data science, or related roles, with a strong focus on B2B and/or B2B SaaS businesses.

  • Experience leading analytics teams, including hiring, coaching, and career development.

  • Proven track record partnering across Marketing and Sales leaders to drive measurable improvements in pipeline, conversion, and ROI.

  • Experience with a modern marketing and analytics tech stack, including Salesforce, Tableau, Marketo, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Snowflake as well as the next-generation of AI-powered technologies.

  • Strong statistical and analytical skills, including comfort with experimentation design, regression, pipeline modeling and forecasting techniques (hands-on or via close partnership with data science).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to create C-level narratives and influence decisions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics); Advanced degree is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure software, or enterprise SaaS.

  • Direct experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles and performance marketing velocity related metrics.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML-driven marketing use cases (propensity models, next-best-action, churn/upsell modeling).

  • Experience working in a high-growth, global organization with distributed teams.

Key Competencies:

  • Strategic thinker, operator, and builder – can set the vision and then roll up sleeves to execute.

  • Business-first mindset and intellectual curiosity– obsessed with understanding how marketing drives revenue, not just generating reports.

  • Cross-functional collaboration – skilled at aligning cross-functional stakeholders around shared metrics and insights.

  • Partial to action – comfortable in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

  • Quality focus – trusted steward of data quality and an honest broker of insight.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
