  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of lifecycle marketers, fostering a culture of rapid experimentation, innovation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Creative, and Sales teams to ensure seamless program execution and impactful customer experiences. Collaborate on defining customer journeys and integrating lifecycle marketing into the broader customer experience.
  • Oversee the end-to-end campaign process, including strategy development, creative briefing, audience targeting, A/B testing, deployment, performance monitoring, and optimization. Implement rigorous testing methodologies to continuously improve campaign performance.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of lifecycle marketing programs. Provide regular reporting and insightful analysis to stakeholders, demonstrating the impact of lifecycle marketing on business outcomes.
  • Continuously analyze customer data, campaign performance, and market trends to identify opportunities for program improvement, innovation, and new customer engagement strategies. Leverage data to inform strategic decisions and optimize program effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines within the insurance industry for all lifecycle marketing communications.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in consumer lifecycle marketing, with a proven track record of driving business growth.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing and developing lifecycle marketing teams in a D2C context.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, extract actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Iterable, Customer IO, Braze, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of experimentation, personalization strategies, and A/B testing methodologies.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
