THE ROLE

We are seeking an ambitious, highly experienced programmatic leader to join our Partnerships team and lead our inventory curation efforts. This role is both strategic and executional, responsible for building and scaling our curation business while remaining deeply hands-on in campaign and deal execution.

As a senior leader, you will own media decisioning across our curated inventory products ensuring performance, scalability, and accuracy across all SSP integrations. You will operate as the connective tissue between Partnerships, Trading, Sales, and Analytics, bringing both a deep understanding of the supply ecosystem and a strong operator mindset.

This is a unique opportunity to help build a new and high-growth business line within the company. We are looking for a true inventory expert: someone who understands supply, data, and deal mechanics inside and out, and can translate that into scalable, revenue-driving solutions. This role is hybrid out of our New York City office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and scale curated supply solutions across the Zeta DSP
  • Define and evolve the curation strategy, including packaging and go-to-market approach
  • Identify new opportunities to leverage data, inventory, and partnerships to drive incremental revenue
  • Establish best practices and scalable processes for curation across the organization
  • Own the full deal lifecycle: setup, QA, launch, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Create and manage Deal IDs (PMP, PG, curated deals) across SSPs
  • Ensure accurate implementation of targeting, data signals, and deal parameters
  • Monitor performance in real time and optimize for delivery, win rate, CPM efficiency, and campaign KPIs
  • Work directly in-platform to execute and optimize the deals in tandem with the Traders
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across all integrated SSP platforms
  • Partner with SSPs and our internal Data Cloud team to develop data-driven, performance-optimized inventory packages
  • Evaluate supply quality, pricing, and performance to inform deal structuring
  • Manage inbound data processes with Product/Tech and ensure seamless integration into curated deals
  • Collaborate with Sales and Strategy to align curated offerings with client needs and revenue goals
  • Analyze deal and inventory performance to identify trends and optimization opportunities
  • Use data to inform decision-making across supply selection, packaging, and pricing
  • Develop frameworks for measuring success of curated inventory and ensuring continuous improvement

Required Experience

  • 6–10+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, with a strong focus on supply, trading, or inventory partnerships
  • Deep expertise in the programmatic ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, and deal-based buying (PMPs, PG, curated marketplaces)
  • Proven hands-on experience activating and optimizing Deal IDs across multiple SSPs
  • Strong understanding of the bidstream, ORTB, and auction dynamics
  • Experience evaluating inventory quality, negotiating pricing, and structuring deals
  • Technical fluency with data workflows, APIs, and optimization methodologies
  • Advanced analytical skills (Excel required; SQL a plus)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong operational rigor
  • Bachelor’s degree required

BENEFITS & PERKS

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
