We are seeking a bright, energic, self-motivated, technically minded Director of Information Technology who will serve as the Bank's key technical contact responsible for all IT infrastructure and day-to-day system management. A successful candidate would be someone with 10+ years of hands-on, advanced infrastructure, system administration experience and thinking strategically. Excellent communication aptitude, technically minded, strong work ethic, project management experience, effective problem-solving skill, and team collaboration mindset is a must.
The Director of Information Technology is a senior IT leader who supports the Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Technology Officer in implementing new technology initiatives and managing the Bank's core compute, storage, network, and AD infrastructure. This role also assists in IT security and other management functions.

Salary Minimum: $100,000 - Salary Max: $150,000

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives and drive innovation.
- Collaborate with VP of IT and Chief Technology Officer to align IT with actionable deliverables.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud platforms).
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Manage hardware and software deployments.
- Collaborate with the Information Security team to improve the overall security controls.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection laws.
- Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Assist the VP of IT in supervising daily IT operations and service delivery.
- Promotion and enhance internal IT service level agreement.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement and improve IT service management (ITSM) processes.
- Maintain current systems and identify opportunities for upgrades.
- Recruit, train, and mentor IT staff.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and assist VP of IT on team development.
- Optimize IT spending and resource allocation.
- Liaise with other departments to understand and support their technology needs.
- Ensure IT integration across business functions (HR, retail, lending, finance, operations).
- Communicate IT strategies and initiatives across all levels of the organization.
- Lead IT projects from conception to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business requirements.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure IT performance and impact.
Requirements
- BS in MIS or related field, or significant equivalent experience
- 10+ years of closely related work experience
- Certifications in Networking, Information Security, and Management
- Some traveling is required
- Must have a valid driver ID
- Windows Active Directory & Group Policy Management
- Microsoft Azure Infrastructure & AWS Cloud Infrastructure
- Understanding and/or working experience in InfoSec software
- Maintain current IT operations and serve as the contact for helpdesk support
- Responsible for continuous improvement of the IT functions
- Provide budget and resource planning and forecasting. Reduce unnecessary overhead
- Lead technology project; follow standard project management framework
- Assist with helpdesk and other IT functions team if necessary
- Some heavy lifting of less than 50 pounds may be required
- May be required to work outside of typical hours to meet business needs
