HiveMQ’s Vision for this Role

HiveMQ is seeking a high-energy, creative, and driven Director of Industry Marketing to join our team. Based in the US and reporting directly to the CMO, this role requires proven expertise in marketing smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 solutions to enterprise B2B buyers. You will craft messaging, campaigns, and content that resonate with technical and business stakeholders across the manufacturing, automotive, energy, and transportation sectors. As a strong public speaker and subject matter expert, you will represent HiveMQ at key industry events and collaborate closely with sales, product marketing, and demand generation to build pipeline and increase market awareness in our highest-priority industries.

Who Are You?

The ideal candidate for this job should have most of the following:

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B enterprise software marketing or sales
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience leading industry or vertical marketing programs, or prior hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Proven ability to develop value propositions and messaging that resonate with industry-specific personas
  • Demonstrated success building pipeline through industry campaigns and sales enablement
  • Strong understanding of the industrial ecosystem - hardware, software, services providers
  • Strong public speaking and/or social media experience 
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills tailored to technical and executive audiences
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced SaaS environment
You Might Also Have:
  • Worked directly in the manufacturing or energy sector in OT or IT environments
  • Experience building vertical playbooks and industry-specific sales tools
  • Proven ability to write Business Value Assessments
  • Familiarity with MQTT, IoT, or industrial protocols and their relevance in smart industry use cases
  • Prior success working in an ABM or industry GTM team within a distributed organization
  • Knowledge of buyer journey orchestration using HubSpot and Salesforce
