As Director of the Weapon Sensor program, you'll lead cross-functional teams in developing and executing a new business strategy for sensor solutions in the defense industry, requiring strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Job Description
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and classified work, it requires the need for primarily an onsite presence.
What's it like working for a company that makes a national impact? Inspiring? As the Director of the Weapon Sensor program, you will be working with a cross functional team that is creating a new way of doing business within the Small Form Factor Solutions Product Line. It's the excitement and pride in executing a Development, Qualification and Low-Rate Production program that will be the cornerstone of our commercial "Flex EW" family of sensors. You will be working with today's "disruptors" like Anduril and CoAspire to succeed in the new paradigm of the weapons marketplace. Creativity, persistence and innovation are skills that will be key in this new environment.
You will get the opportunity to act strategically to support the SFF strategy. We are changing the way we do business, and this opportunity will put this role right in the middle of that activity. In turn, the team will help you achieve your goals and advance your career.
The successful candidate will be expected to work with Anduril management and technical leadership. Anduril is a leading "disruptor" in the weapons marketplace and being able to "operate in the gray" where requirements will be murky, schedules will be changing and customer strategies will evolve over time, will be critical to a successful outcome.
We are looking for an experienced Program Director who is agile, who will operate within our framework, but also knows how to tailor it. Someone who has a good feel of when to bend and when to be firm. Scope management will be a big part of the customer relationship. Good communication skills and the ability to negotiate with the customer will be important.
