The Director of HR will partner with Go-To-Market teams to implement people strategies, support organizational capability, and manage people's operations for US employees.
Silk is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to work closely with Silk Go-To-Market teams, managers, and key stakeholders to help build organizational and people capability, and shape & implement effective people strategies and activities within the company. This role will also be responsible for all people’s operations, supporting all US-based employees.
The position is in Needham, MA, reporting to the VP of People, as part of a global HR team, and will work with teams in North America, Europe, and Israel. The Needham office is on a hybrid schedule, with the expectation of on-site attendance 2-3 days per week.
Must have:
- Experience in growing and fast-paced start-ups and/or in the tech industry.
- Lead. Be an HR expert, implementing best practices. Partnering and serving as a trusted advisor to senior management is critical to success in this role.
- Adaptable and open to change. Capable of taking a step back and taking an objective view.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Take charge and challenge decisions.
Other requirements:
- Experience working as part of a global HR team and with various cultures.
- Experience in maintaining a positive work environment for employees working in varied settings (hybrid, fully remote, etc.)
- Proven recruiting and organizational development experience.
- BA/BS or equivalent and/or HR certificate
