As a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will be a key driver in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with the evolving business strategy of Geico. You will be responsible for the HR strategy and execution within your aligned internal client groups and for driving key company-wide and/or HR-wide initiatives.  To excel in this role, you are commercially minded, highly collaborative professional and excel in a fast-paced and transformational environment.

Location:

  • This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum, on-site presence of 3 days per week at our Chevy Chase, MD or Dallas TX office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain deep, influential partnerships with senior business leaders

  • Demonstrate strong business and analytical acumen, root-causing issues, and deriving (and delivering) HR strategies and talent solutions from business objectives

  • Support effective change management, including a focus on effective communication and engagement at all levels

  • Lead talent development efforts, including organizational design and development, succession planning, and compensation/reward planning

  • Collaborate with clients in corporate functions to define talent management needs; designing and implementing actions that contribute to long-term success and are aligned to company-wide people initiatives

  • Ensure effective partnerships with PG Centers of Excellence (COEs) for timely delivery of services and support to client groups and collaborate with peers to drive a “one PG” experience for internal clients

  • Foster a climate of inclusion, integrating diverse thoughts to develop plans and solutions suited to evolving circumstances

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive human resource management experience in roles of progressively increasing scope within matrixed, high-growth organizations

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience required

  • Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, talent development and succession, compensation, human capital analytics, employee retention, and culture and engagement with a lens on diversity, equity & inclusion

  • Excellent communication skills and analytical skills and ability to coach, influence, and partner with leaders and employees at various levels

  • Proven success in delivering value-add talent solutions and outcomes that enable business success

  • Demonstrated track record of using data to provide insights that help business leaders make decisions

  • Demonstrated experience in influencing and coaching leaders, conflict resolution, change management, organizational design and development

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt including driving decisions, solving problems and executing effectively even when standard protocols and policies may not currently exist

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the insurance industry or other industries with critical operational functions and a strong focus on customer experience

  • Experience partnering with businesses to drive transformative growth and change.

  • Track record of effectively supporting Corporate functions, including technology and product functions.

Annual Salary

$120,950.00 - $212,175.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
