Role Overview: Kobalt.io is seeking a creative, driven, and results-oriented Director of Growth Marketing to lead the development and implementation of company-wide growth strategies. This vital role at Kobalt.io involves developing and implementing a growth strategy, which includes establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), assembling and leading a high-achieving growth team, and managing resource allocation and budgets.. This role will take a holistic approach, looking at the entire customer journey to identify areas where growth can be optimized. This includes optimizing conversion rates, improving customer retention, and driving revenue growth. As the leader of the Marketing team, you will collaborate with subject matter experts, services, sales, and customer success to craft and execute growth strategies that align with our business goals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement company-wide growth strategies.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for growth initiatives.
  • Manage a team of Sales Development specialists and a Content Marketing Specialist, with the opportunity to scale as we grow
  • Allocate resources and budgets effectively to maximize growth.
  • Managing and optimizing marketing channels to improve conversion rates and reduce costs.
  • Conducting A/B tests and experiments to identify areas of improvement and optimize campaign performance.
  • Analyzing campaign performance and reporting results to stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with other marketing teams, such as content and social media, to ensure alignment and maximize ROI.

Qualifications:

  • AI enthusiast - demonstrated capabilities of building and executing AI-driven workflows to drive productivity and performance.
  • Extensive experience in digital marketing and analytics, with a strong understanding of data-driven decision making.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in building and leading high-performing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Data analysis and interpretation skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex data sets
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on driving business growth and revenue.
  • Understanding of customer value journey principles.
  • A proven track record of success in sales alignment and supporting sales success.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Compensation:

This role has an annual salary range of $140,00 to $170,000. While that is a large range, it is intentional. It reflects the full growth journey someone might take in the role, from developing skills early on to becoming highly proficient and ultimately achieving excellence.

Most new hires join at the accomplished stage, which for this role represents an annual salary of $155,000. A starting salary below this typically indicates a candidate with strong potential who is still developing key skills. Salaries above this typically apply to candidates who have held similar roles and achieved exceptional growth results within the cybersecurity or technology consulting field.
