About the Role:

Abacus Insights is seeking a dynamic and driven Director, Global Talent Acquisition to lead and scale our talent acquisition function across the US, India, and Nepal. As a key member of our People and Culture team, you will architect and execute an aggressive hiring strategy that supports our rapid growth and mission to unlock the value of healthcare data. This role requires a strategic thinker who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive into execution—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.  You will play a pivotal role in identifying and implementing intelligent tools and workflows that make our talent acquisition team more effective, allowing us to focus on what matters most: building exceptional, mission-driven teams.

You Will:

  • Drive Talent Strategy –Partner with senior leadership across departments to forecast hiring needs, influence workforce planning, align priorities, and ensure a strong pipeline of qualified talent to build a scalable roadmap for growth.
  • Own Full-Cycle Recruiting – Lead hiring across all domains and functions, ensuring we attract and close top-tier talent in competitive markets. Own and optimize recruitment metrics and reporting; provide regular updates to executive leadership on hiring trends, pipeline health, and other KPIs.
  • Build and Lead Teams – Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing internal recruiting team. Manage external search partners and agencies to extend reach and capacity.
  • Execute with Operational Excellence – Design and implement recruiting infrastructure, tools, and workflows that support scale and efficiency. Leverage automation and AI-driven solutions to streamline sourcing, screening, and scheduling – freeing up time for high-impact, strategic work.
  • Elevate Employer Brand – Amplify our mission and position Abacus Insights as the employer of choice in healthcare and technology globally. Monitor market trends and collect competitive intelligence; bring best-in-class, innovative hiring best practices and insights from across the competitive landscape.
  • Champion Candidate Experience – Deliver a world-class, inclusive candidate journey that reflects our values and differentiates Abacus Insights in the market.

What We're Looking For:

  • 12 – 15 years of progressive recruiting experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing talent acquisition teams globally.
  • Proven success hiring across technical and non-technical domains in high-growth, mission-driven environments – preferably in healthcare, data, or technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale recruiting operations, including tools, workflows, and analytics.
  • Experience implementing automation and AI in recruiting processes to improve efficiency and candidate quality.
  • Advanced proficiency in applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • A bias for action, a hands-on approach, and a passion for building global teams that drive meaningful impact.
