Position Overview:

As the Global Talent Acquisition Director at Verra Mobility, reporting to the Vice President of Global Talent Management, you will be responsible for leading our organization through the development of a talent acquisition strategy, while enhancing our global recruiting process, and ensuring we are attracting top talent.  The ideal candidate will drive transformational change to our global talent acquisition processes and how we attract talent while building critical partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.  This person will be committed to proposing data-driven initiatives that align with the talent acquisition strategy and the needs of the business.  As a critical leader on the Corporate Human Resources team, you will play a key role in delivering our mission, which is to enable the organization to find, engage, and develop the best people, and help create the culture and environment for them to do their best work.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop global talent acquisition strategies that align with business priorities and are applicable across all business units while considering the various complexities.
  • Build equitable recruitment processes that align with our talent acquisition strategy; ensure that all processes are scalable and sustainable for global growth.
  • Enhance end-to-end candidate experience, from sourcing through onboarding, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Develop and execute the employer branding and candidate experience across channels that align with company objectives and strategies, including Verra Mobility’s presence on external platforms.
  • Build and report on relevant metrics to measure the effectiveness of the talent acquisition strategy and processes; problem-solve and quickly course-correct where needed.
  • Management of external vendors, including identification, escalation, negotiation, and maintenance of agreements.
  • Offer proactive expertise on current and upcoming talent trends that impact our talent strategy or business.
  • Provide strategic leadership and training for hiring managers and recruiting teams on how to effectively identify and evaluate talent. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree required with preference of Human Resources, Business Management, or related field; or equivalent work experience and background. 
  • Advanced knowledge of talent acquisition and building talent strategies.
  • Proven track record of identifying & engaging diverse, qualified talent in the market.
  • Ability to leverage data to inform decisions and influence the talent acquisition strategy.
  • Comprehensive experience in human resources with experience building best-in-class global programs in complex, international environments requiring strong alignment with multiple internal partners. 
  • Working knowledge of government compliance and regulations that apply to talent acquisition requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing effective sourcing strategies, with a strong understanding of optimizing recruitment processes.
  • Broad expertise in building effective recruiting strategies across multiple channels and sources.
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to organize and analyze data. 
  • Experience building strategies across North America, EMEA, and APAC, preferred.
