As the Director of Global Marketing PSX, you will spearhead the strategic direction and flawless execution of our global marketing activities. Your leadership will be pivotal in positioning our products ahead of the curve, driving world-class marketing campaigns, and building a high-performance team.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish comprehensive strategic positions and tactical marketing plans that strictly position the company for success.
- Build global demand for products by developing and coordinating the execution of the marketing plan, including market segmentation, targeting, and positioning.
- Lead launch activities with Product Management, promotional marketing campaigns, and marketing communication efforts, aligning them with the company’s commercial strategy.
- Hire, develop, and motivate a team of marketeers, building a collaborative culture that emphasizes achievement of both short- and long-term business objectives.
- Cultivate positive relationships with the Sales organization to meet corporate/commercial goals.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Scientific Affairs to align objectives and plans.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer segment needs to build effective value propositions and key messages.
- Manage a metrics/reporting system to track the success of marketing programs and distill insights into actionable strategies.
- Stay informed about precision medicine markets, competitors, and customers.
- Apply market research and data to size market opportunities and build successful marketing programs.
- Integrate marketing communication plans into the marketing foundation, improving the company’s presence.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific field; PhD and/or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of proven hands-on experience in marketing roles within proteomics, molecular biology, genomics, or biotechnology.
- 7+ years of leadership experience in life science marketing.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with a keen understanding of the sales process.
- Strong creative intuition on design and messaging, with an ability to learn from past campaigns to improve performance.
- Ability to develop and present strategy effectively, communicating in a compelling way.
- Outstanding skill in managing complex marketing projects with a strong attention to detail.
- Independent execution of project goals, supporting all steps of the customer journey.
- Skilled at developing and nurturing connections with internal and external collaborators.
- Strong analytical and computer skills, with knowledge of financial models.
- Takes initiative, shows a desire to learn, and seeks opportunities for growth.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities, bringing to bear resources and staying focused under pressure.
- Solid executive communication and financial management skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for site visits, industry conferences, and subsidiary visits.
