About Givzey:

Givzey is a Boston-based, rapidly growing digital fundraising solutions company, built by fundraisers for nonprofit organizations. Givzey created the first Intelligent Gift Agreement Platform for fundraising, which empowers fundraisers to secure giving and bookable revenue with Digital Gift Agreements, while leadership gains intricate forecasting knowledge all year long. With Givzey, fundraisers can quickly and easily scale the gift agreement and gift pledge process to donors of all sizes to increase giving, hone predictability, and provide a world-class donor experience.

At Givzey, our financial tools include QuickBooks, CorpNet, Gusto, Carta, Google Workspace, 

Director of Finance responsibilities are:

  • Accounts payable
  • Monthly financial reconciliation and reporting
  • Working with customers for new vendor registration procedure
  • Invoicing customers and following up with them on past due payments
  • Maintaining the cap table and requesting 409A valuations
  • Working with the various federal, state, and local tax agencies to comply with tax regs
  • Producing the commission reports on a monthly basis
  • Working with accounting and legal firms 
  • Reviewing and maintaining/adjusting company software license agreements
  • Review, maintain, and add company insurance policies and provide COIs to customers upon request

Director of Finance requirements are:

  • 3-5  years of successful finance experience, preferably in E-commerce and understanding of non-profit organizations
  • Bachelor's degree or related field and/or equivalent experienceStrong analytical and time management skills
  • Good teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Strong passion for Givzey's mission, and for E-commerce and finance
  • Ability to work closely with clients' functional teams internally, credit, legal, etc.
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Willingness to step up to greater responsibility, strong desire to contribute to overall goals
  • Self-motivated, extremely detail-oriented, and strong time management skills
  • Creativity and strong critical reasoning skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving work environment
