Job Description:

Director Finance

This Director role is a member of the Fidelity Wealth team in support of the Investment Advisory Group (IAG).  The primary objective of this role will be leading a team of associates providing financial and strategic business management support, leading a broad range of analytics, and partnering to ensure sound financial decisions to help business partners produce improved outcomes for our clients and Fidelity.  Business partners will include the leaders of the Investor Centers, National Investor Center, Executive Services and Private Wealth Management businesses.  The role requires an individual that collaborates, is intellectually curious, develops and sets priorities for the team, proactively engages business partners and develops associates on the team.  

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Candidates need to have confidence, business maturity, and presence to work independently and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, including effectively interacting with and influencing senior management. 

  • This will require strong interpersonal skills, proactively building consultative relationships across Finance and the business. 

  • Candidates will also need to be organized, flexible, resourceful and in control to manage several priorities in a deadline driven environment, having comfort with ambiguity. 

  • Proven leadership skills and ability to develop financial analyst talent and be a culture carrier for the organization are a must. 

  • Intellectual curiosity and strong financial acumen are expected.

The Team

As a member of the Fidelity Wealth Finance team, you will provide senior management with illuminating, productive financial analysis to guide effective decision-making that impacts Fidelity’s clients and associates. This role will be key in supporting Finance’s efforts in the growth and development of the business.  IAG as part of Fidelity Wealth focuses on helping our customers.  This role will support that goal.
