Job Description

Position Overview:

The Director of Finance - JV & MSA Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for the finance function supporting Intuitive Health’s JV & MSA emergency and urgent care partnerships. This position allows for career growth within an innovative PE-backed healthcare managed service organization heavily focused on nationwide expansion.

The Director oversees a team of finance professionals responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, operational analysis, and partner financial management across a growing national portfolio. This leader serves as a key liaison between Intuitive Health operations leadership, hospital partner finance teams to drive financial performance, operational scalability, and strategic decision-making.

This role will be part of the Corporate Finance team and will work very closely with the Operations team and the various Finance and Accounting teams of our partners.

 

Responsibilities include:

Leadership & Team Management

· Lead, mentor, and develop Finance Manager(s) supporting JV and MSA operations.

· Establish performance expectations, accountability measures, and professional development plans for finance team members.

· Create scalable finance processes and organizational structure to support rapid company growth and new market expansion.

· Serve as the escalation point and strategic resource for finance and operational issues across assigned partnerships.

 

Financial Oversight & Strategic Analysis

· Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and operational finance activities for all assigned JV and MSA partnerships.

· Provide executive-level financial analysis and recommendations regarding operational performance, revenue trends, labor management, profitability, and growth opportunities.

· Analyze and communicate key business drivers, risks, and financial performance indicators to executive leadership and partner stakeholders.

· Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with hospital partners and Intuitive Health leadership.

· Support board-level and private equity investor reporting requests and presentations.

 

Partner & Operational Collaboration

· Maintain strong working relationships with hospital partner finance and operational leadership teams.

· Ensure accurate and timely data collection form health system partners

· Partner closely with Operations, Revenue Cycle, Accounting, and leadership to improve operational and financial outcomes.

· Provide strategic financial guidance during new partnership implementations, acquisitions, integrations, and expansion initiatives.

· Support Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings and executive partner presentations.

 

Process Improvement & Scalability

· Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, reporting automation, standardization, and improved financial controls.

· Lead initiatives related to FP&A process optimization, KPI development, and scalable reporting infrastructure.

· Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting methodologies across all partnerships.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance operations and cross-functional workflows.

 

Compliance & Governance

· Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and reporting standards.

· Support audit activities and maintain strong internal financial governance practices.

· Assist with strategic financial planning and long-range forecasting initiatives.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting Required

· 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.

· 3+ years of leadership experience managing finance teams.

· Hospital/Health System finance experience required

· Experience supporting joint ventures, partnerships, or management services organizations preferred.

· Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, operational analytics, and financial modeling.

· Experience presenting financial performance and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and external partners.

· Demonstrated success leading process improvement and organizational scalability initiatives.

· Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills required.

· Experience with FP&A and financial reporting systems strongly preferred.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

· Strong interpersonal, communication, and executive presentation skills.
