Position Purpose: This position will support, manage and drive enterprise strategic initiatives with heavy focus on financial and qualitative results. This position will partner with key functional leaders and senior management to identify and execute on portfolio of initiatives including Centene Forward transformational projects and HBR market/product initiatives.
  • Performance manage cross-functional teams to drive business strategy and issue resolution from ideation through implementation/execution
  • Monitor realization of benefits, including tracking financial and qualitative results
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly reporting summaries prepared for Senior Management on initiative performance and status
  • Review return on investment (ROI) calculations and evaluate proposed benefit realization, including assessing confidence in value, timeline after accounting from level of risk
  • Review and approve key performance indicator and financial benefit realization tracking methodology
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience is required; Graduate Degree preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of performance management or financial/analytics experience in a leadership role is required
  • Strong financial and analytical background is required
  • Managed care or health insurance industry experience is preferred
  • At least 3 years of management experience is required
  • If not located in St. Louis, monthly travel to Corporate Headquarters for team meetings would be required (2-3 days at a time)

Pay Range: $145,100.00 - $268,800.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
