Top Skills: Cms

At CoLab, we help mechanical engineering teams bring life-changing products to market years sooner. Our product, CoLab, is a Design Engagement System (DES) that helps engineering teams review designs together, catch preventable mistakes, and make better decisions—faster. Companies like Ford, Komatsu, and Johnson Controls use CoLab to build the next generation of physical products.

We’re looking for a Field Marketing Manager, who will partner closely with demand generation, sales, and customer success to build a field marketing program from the ground up. In this role, you’ll be responsible for field marketing, events, and ABM. While we’ve experimented with each of these tactics, we’ve never built and scaled repeatable programs. That’s where you come in.

You will create experiential events and pipeline programs that bring CoLab’s message to our target accounts. Programs will be aligned to sales priorities and revenue targets (both land and expand), and will include owned and third party events and account-based strategy. You are passionate about driving high-quality pipeline and have a knack for working across sales and marketing teams to drive collaboration.

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with CoLab’s CMO on the creation and execution of a comprehensive events and experiences strategy tailored to drive substantial enterprise pipeline growth
  • Develop a multi-pronged strategy that is a mix of both new logo acquisition and expansion into existing accounts
  • Oversee logistics and execution of events, including shaping event themes, building landing pages and operational campaigns, working with outside vendors, overseeing branded swag fulfillment, managing event sales staffing, and setting and defining lead goals and metrics for each event
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and sales to get the best possible return from event prep, onsite experience, and follow-up campaigns
  • Build successful campaigns and events into repeatable programs
  • Own programs end-to-end in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail and execution

What you'll need:

  • 3+ years of experience in a field marketing role, focused on B2B technology.
  • Demonstrated experience defining, planning, and executing field marketing, events, and ABM strategies
  • A well-rounded background with a variety of event types, including large-scale industry gatherings and exclusive, high-touch experiences.
  • A combination of strategic planning and hands-on tactical execution.
  • Great project management skills including strong communication around project timelines, responsible individuals, and status.
  • Experience working with customers in manufacturing (industrial equipment, heavy equipment, automotive) a plus.

Frequently cited statistics show that people who identify with historically marginalized groups are likely to apply to jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. We encourage you to help us break that statistic and apply even if you don’t meet every single qualification—your potential is what matters most to us.
