This role operates at the intersection of strategy execution and system delivery. The Director translates Evidence Generation business priorities and strategic intents into cohesive, executable system designs, drives delivery across tightly connected platforms and external dependencies, and resolves complex integration, compliance, and delivery challenges. The role is deeply hands‑on, with a strong emphasis on making strategic roadmap priorities real through disciplined execution, particularly during periods of system stand‑up, modernization, and ecosystem integration.

Role Responsibilities
  • Own hands‑on delivery, operationalization, and continuous improvement of one or more core Evidence Generation systems, from requirements through release and hypercare, with a focus on long‑term sustainability and scalability.
  • In addition to system ownership, lead strategically important cross‑system capabilities spanning multiple interdependent Evidence Generation systems and external dependencies.
  • Translate end‑to‑end Evidence Generation business priorities and roadmap intents into aligned functional requirements, system designs, and integration approaches across systems.
  • Ensuring delivery aligns with roadmap priorities and business outcomes (backlog readiness, sprint execution, and release activities), in close partnership with Pfizer Digital and external vendors.
  • Lead and orchestrate system‑level and cross‑system integrations and dependencies, including upstream and downstream systems outside direct control, balancing delivery risk, compliance, and business impact, in close partnership with Pfizer Digital and external vendors.
  • Define and execute system‑level and cross‑system training, user enablement, and communication strategies to support adoption, change, and sustained value realization.
  • Act as a senior system owner and escalation point for issue resolution, release stabilization, and continuous improvement across assigned systems.
  • Execute assigned roadmap initiatives, proactively managing dependencies, sequencing, and delivery risks, and surfacing strategic implications through governance forums.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders including IEG, Medical & Scientific Evidence Generation Operations, Medical Affairs, HV&E, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Safety, Compliance, Digital, and external vendors to ensure solutions are strategically aligned, operationally fit, and compliant.
