Job Summary:
The Director, Enterprise Accreditation is responsible for the Accreditation strategy, readiness, surveys and outcome results across all markets and products through oversight of accreditation staff and market engagement for all aspects of accreditation, and prioritizing workloads of all assignments and productivity outcomes.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the development and implementation of accreditation strategy across the enterprise
- Evaluates readiness and escalates the organizational risks related to accreditation requirements to the AVP of Enterprise Quality Assurance and Accreditation
- Provides leadership and oversight to the development and implementation of action plans with enterprise-wide business owners to mitigate risks
- Develops and oversees accreditation pipeline, prioritizes accreditation work according to timelines
- Provide oversight to accreditation repositories
- Develops and manages the accreditation workplan across all markets and products
- Creates structures to support an accreditation state of readiness
- Develops reports related to accreditation
- Ensures a state of enterprise-wide accreditation readiness
- Manages the accreditation budget, including forecasting and monthly reconciliation.
- Oversees master schedule or documents for accreditation standard(s)
- Oversees the collection and preparation of accreditation submissions (documented process, reports, and materials)
- Coordinates accreditation submission with NCQA, accreditation team and other stakeholders
- Coordinates onsite surveys with external stakeholders
- Corresponds with NCQA and consultants as necessary
- Participates in applicable committees
- Ensures inventory of up-to-date accreditation standards
- Maintain familiarity with accreditation standards and communicate those changes to leadership
- Continuously pursues and identifies best practices as well as opportunities for improvement
- Oversees SharePoint site for Accreditation documents
- Oversees process ensuring master document naming conventions and document version control are consistent and accurate
- Manages review of communication materials related to accreditation
- Manages Quality Improvement Activities related to accreditation
- Oversees management of key project initiatives including the development of detail work plans, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities and monitoring/summarizing project progress
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in and Accreditation, Quality Improvement, or Project Management role is required
- Prior leadership experience is required
- Managed Care experience is required
Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:
- Expert skill in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word
- Expert skill level with SharePoint
- Visio experience preferred
- Knowledge of state requirements related to Health Services Quality Monitoring Program & Accreditation
- Communication skills
- Management/ Leadership skills and experience
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strict attention to detail
- Familiarity of the healthcare field
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, Exchange and Commercial products

Licensure and Certification:
- CPHQ is preferred
Working Conditions:
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- May be required to travel – estimated at 10%
Compensation Range:
$110,800.00 - $193,800.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
