Strategic & Technical Leadership
- Own the vision and roadmap for legal and privacy system engineering, aligning with business and regulatory priorities
- Guide architecture, modernization, and performance improvements across OneTrust, iManage, and related platforms
- Partner with Privacy, Legal, and Compliance teams to align system capabilities with operational and regulatory requirements
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and vendor solutions to enhance capabilities, reduce technical debt, and drive cost effectiveness
- Drive innovation in system integration, reporting, and automation to support legal and privacy workflows
Team & Execution Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing technical teams responsible for system development, customization, and support
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement focused on quality and operational stability
- Oversee vendor relationships, licensing, and contract negotiations for legal and privacy systems
Operational Oversight
- Ensure robust system monitoring, incident response, and performance management across platforms
- Support compliance and privacy initiatives through reliable, scalable system configurations
- Manage integrations with enterprise platforms while maintaining system security and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 10+ years in engineering roles, with 5+ years leading technical teams
- Experience with OneTrust (IRR, CMP), iManage DMS, and privacy compliance systems
- Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain high-performing, collaborative technical teams
- Ability to maintain operational stability while supporting modernization initiatives
Desired Characteristics:
- Understanding of legal operations and privacy regulatory environments
- Operates with autonomy and takes ownership of ambiguous challenges without waiting for top-down direction
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
