Director Ecommerce

Duties: Lead product development by building a core in-house engineering team, in collaboration with a strong outsource partner network, consisting of full stack & app developers, UI/UX developers, designers, product managers and cloud experts for projects based on a varied tech stack. (React JS, Node JS, Vue/Nuxt, iOS/Android, Data Analytics, AI/ML, Relational/NoSQL DBs, AWS/Azure/Google & others). Lead the team to develop high level, unique technical approaches to business challenges translating the business view (faster time to market) into a functional view; present alternative technological solutions; and determine appropriate sequencing of business transformation to reach an optimum overall solution for the customer. Orchestrate all aspects of a strategic Ecommerce plan. Drive the Innovation & Automation agenda by adopting cutting edge technologies like Commerce Cloud, Content Management Solution(CMS), Product Information Master(PIM) etc. to achieve process efficiencies, increase in user productivity & seamless customer experience. Articulate business/industry fundamentals (e.g., ROI, TCO); understand regulations and operational excellence; and trends in the IT industry (e.g., CI/CD, DevOps, Personalization, Predictive Analytics). Demonstrate architectural best practices applied across a breadth of technologies to solve organizational problems, articulate views/roadmaps for future development, and understand the interaction between infrastructure, operations, and development. Lead Digital Transformation & Innovative Digital Product strategy & development, leveraging agile principles & design thinking approach to deliver the best customer experience for range of Ecommerce, B2B & B2C products & solutions and ensuring PCI compliance of all ecommerce applications. Specialize in Software Engineering, Program & Project Management of large scale Digital & E-Commerce products, E-Payments, Business Applications & Mobility solutions (iOS & Android, Cross-Platform applications) from strategy, solution architecture, design, build to delivery on variety of open-source & enterprise technology stacks; leading sizable & globally dispersed high-performance tech teams with varied skill sets. Develop business systems solutions/applications to automate business processes and improve work efficiency. Revises and updates existing programs and provide required documentation.

Basic Qualifications: Requires Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Information Systems or related field of study, and 10 years of experience in Information Systems and Information Technology roles. Experience specified must include 10 years of experience in each of the following: Front end technologies (HTML and JavaScript), back-end technologies (Java), and databases (SQL or NoSQL), specifically for eCommerce solutions in B2B and B2C projects; eCommerce IT solution implementation, particularly with Oracle ATG Commerce; Integrating eCommerce solutions with different platforms utilizing middlewares like Mulesoft, Boomi or an ESB; Integrating payment solutions to eCommerce platforms; Implementing MultiSites in single instance of eCommerce; Implementing Accounts, Contacts and contract Catalogs and Pricing; Merchandising catalogs and pricelists in Business Control Center; Implementing promotions and pricing solutions in eCommerce; Implementing search and indexing for catalog and content on Endeca or SOLR; Implementing CI/CD process using GIT and JENKINS; Mapping Business Requirements into Technical Specifications for eCommerce solutions; Creating architecture and technical design documents; Designing IT solutions involving Product & Vendor evaluation, meeting business objectives and stakeholder expectations for eCommerce solutions; Strategic management of business requirements and aligning IT to Business for eCommerce solutions; and working in a global multinational company. Experience specified must also include 5 years of experience with: Management experience with leading onshore and offshore ecommerce teams; and Implementing in HTML and JS using React, Angular or Knockout JS. Experience specified must also include 2 years of experience in each of the following: Ecommerce IT solution implementation with specific experience in B2B Salesforce Commerce Cloud; and transitioning services related to merger and acquisitions. Telecommuting is permitted. May live anywhere in the U.S. Must attend meetings at the Corporate Office in Waltham, MA at a minimum of once per quarter.
