What You'll Do:

We’re looking for a Director of Design to lead the charge in shaping the future of our platform's user experience. This role blends strategic influence with hands-on design expertise, driving the creation of scalable design systems and high-impact user interfaces for our SaaS and analytics-driven products. As a senior leader, you’ll mentor a global team of designers and researchers, partner closely with product and engineering, and play a critical role in transforming complex challenges into elegant, user-centered solutions.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Build the design strategy for the platform
  • Build design system for the platform
  • Work closely with users in understanding their pain-points and resolve those in the product
  • Design UX rapid prototypes for new and innovative experiences
  • Lead and mentor a team of UX designers (Interaction, Visual, and Researchers) based in the US and India
  • Design the UX process that integrates tightly with Product Management and Engineering
  • Design Hi-Fi screens and imagery for product
  • Ideate and build end-to-end clickable prototypes rapidly
  • Be a Product Design Advisor to the entire organization
  • Work closely with the Product Management and the UI team in expediting the delivery process from UX to Production
What You'll Need:
  • 10+ years in design, UX, product research, preferably in tech
  • Experience and ability to shape people strategy (recruiting, development, retention), including participating in or owning talent strategy across a division or function and contribute to long-term people planning
  • Experience leading a team of senior and junior designers, with the ability to lead teams that are remote
  • Command of the Agile Development methodology
  • Experience designing UX for data intensive (analytics, business intelligence, monitoring, etc.) products
  • Experience designing UX for SaaS products
  • Expert knowledge in building design strategy and design systems
  • Expert knowledge in one of more UX domains - Visual Design or Interaction Design
  • Expert knowledge in one or more of the UX tools - Adobe Suite, Sketch, Axure, Invision, etc.
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity, innovation, or problem-solving.

Compensation packages at LogicMonitor for eligible roles include base salary, a variable plan depending on role, along with comprehensive benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary target for new hires in the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. LogicMonitor employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. The Base Salary range for this role is:
$205,380$282,425 USD
