Our North America Operating Unit (NAOU) Marketing Teams are responsible for marketing and growing a portfolio of brands – ensuring that each brand connects deeply with local consumers in ways that scale globally.

As Director, Customer Marketing - Convenience Retail - here's what you will do for us:

  • Leads customer marketing for assigned customers

  • Responsible for leading marketing by amplifying the category/brand plans and creating differentiated marketing/path to purchase platforms

  • Responsible for engaging with customer team and leveraging our Collaborative Business Plans and Coca-Cola Customer Commitment

  • Represents the category/brand platforms/programming/innovation to the customer and customer team

  • Collaborate with Integrated Marketing team (IMX) and creative marketers/agency to enable irresistible customer marketing, as well as working with IMX Connected Commerce team to drive compelling omni-channel plans (via media/eComm/digital marketing/retail media)

  • Build annual plans and long term (3-5 year) customer marketing platforms

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other graduate degree preferred

  • 7 or more years of experience required, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry or sports business; 10 or more years preferred

  • Experience leading and being part of cross-functional teams

  • Customer marketing and omni-channel marketing experience

  • Annual planning expertise, leveraging market trends and consumer/shopper insights

  • Selling experience and collaborating for value

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to utilize category insights, shopper insights and financial goals into planning

  • Significant customer marketing, consumer/shopper insights, business analytics

  • Digital, Social, eComm and Retail Media Network Knowledge & Experience

  • Financial management experience

  • Creative development experience inclusive of working with or for creative shopper agencies

Work Focus

  • Inspire customer to engage in compelling and irresistible customer marketing platforms

  • Senior level customer management skills

  • Experience building, monitoring and implementing sales and marketing plans across customer

  • Advanced strategic and creative thinking

  • Ability to recognize, understand, and interpret shopper behavior, brand strategies, channel, and customer needs, and turn this knowledge into action and results

  • Previous Customer/Shopper/Region/Channel Management experience

  • Strong business acumen with ability to influence across the internal organization and with the customer

Communication Focus

  • This role will communicate with the customer leadership and extensive customer functions (marketing, omni/digital, in-store, retail media, category, etc.)

  • This role will internally collaborate with the category/brand leads, customer/sales leadership, connected commerce, and integrated marketing to then inspire our customers and system (I.e., OU’s, Bottlers and Customers) with our category platforms

  • Support alignment with bottlers and customer teams to win with key category initiatives

Pay Range:

$160,000 - $186,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
