Portfolio Ownership & Performance Management
  • Own end-to-end portfolio health, including approval rates, utilization, delinquency, and loss performance.
  • Build and maintain core reporting (cohort analysis, vintage tracking, unit economics).
  • Identify emerging risk signals and take proactive action to protect portfolio performance.
Lender & Capital Partner Management
  • Serve as a primary interface with external lending and trade credit partners.
  • Lead recurring performance reviews, reporting, and data discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant agreements and proactively manage covenant performance.
  • Translate internal portfolio data into clear, credible narratives for institutional stakeholders.
Underwriting Execution & Complex Deal Structuring
  • Personally underwrite and approve complex or high-value accounts.
  • Conduct deep analysis of customer financials, business models, and risk profiles.
  • Structure credit decisions that balance growth with disciplined risk management.
Operational Buildout & Team Enablement
  • Establish SOPs, QA processes, and decisioning frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability.

  • Collaborate with GTM and Operations on customer-level decisions and escalations.
  • Provide input into product and infrastructure decisions that impact credit performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 8–12+ years of experience in commercial credit, underwriting, or asset-backed lending.
  • Strong experience interacting with institutional lenders or capital providers.
  • Proven ability to design or evolve credit policies and underwriting frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of portfolio analytics, including loss drivers and performance segmentation.
  • Experience operating in a high-growth or evolving environment where structure is still being built.
  • Ability to operate as a hands-on individual contributor while influencing across teams.

What You’ll Receive
  • Competitive compensation including base salary, bonus, and equity
  • Employer-sponsored 401(k) with match
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Flexible time off and hybrid work environment
  • Opportunity to build and scale a critical function at a high-growth fintech company
