Job Description:
The Director of Creative & UX is responsible for bringing to life Pluralsight's brand and consumer-centric marketing strategies through creative design and UX experiences. With a key focus on CRM, digital and mass media channels, this role will drive the creative direction and execution leading a team of design, video, UX, and other production professionals. This person will create relationships across the core marketing BU leaders (B2C, B2B & Public Sector) and support functions (Media, Site Testing & Optimization) and collaborate to deliver relevant business results. Having a balance of experience across both brand and performance (direct response) marketing will be imperative. This position will oversee the creative process, lead their team, and ensure successful project outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Drive an overarching consumer-centric (B2C, B2B, Public Sector) approach to digital and mass media design and creative, across all creative stages - from strategy and planning through concepting and design to final production.
  • Gain deep understanding of key customer segments and goals, and develop creative that aligns to each segment's approach, psychographic, and behavioral attributes.
  • Drive and direct the creative team and external partners on creative strategy and deliverables for all omni-channel campaigns. Channels include display, social, affiliate, email, online video, blog, landing pages, PR, sales, and events.
  • Visualize and visual guidelines for the Pluralsight brand creative, tone and voice that supports brand positioning; ensuring those guidelines are documented, communicated and maintained.
  • Continuously promote and evolve the brand style guide to drive brand consistency across channels.
  • Develop strategic and personalized UX designs, working with Site, Media and Testing & Optimization teams to drive increase in site conversion rate.
  • Deep dive on campaign creative performance results and optimize based on key findings.


Experience you'll bring:

  • Passionate about brand building and creative storytelling.
  • An understanding of marketing across multiple channels (digital, field, events, PR, web, sales) and experience driving a unified vision across those channels.
  • Knowledge of branding from the visual perspective.


Requirements:

  • 6-8+ years experience in brand creative, direct response performance creative, design, and creative leadership.
  • Experience in developing customer-centric UX experiences.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in building dynamic campaigns and programs.

Travel Requirements
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.
Physical and Mental Requirements
Work is performed in an office (or home office) environment and requires the ability to operate office equipment and keyboards. Sedentary work. Repetitive work. Ability to perform tasks related to documentation, data analysis, transcription and extensive content analysis. Learn new tasks, remember processes, complete tasks independently, and make timely decisions in the context of a workflow.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $116100 - $143300 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary and variable, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
