You will also participate in the development of related policies and processes to ensure alignment with Treasury objectives, primarily as it relates to fiat and digital assets, and related to implications for the management of corporate capital and liquidity, and investment of corporate resources.

What you'll be responsible for:
As the leader of the Corporate Treasury function, you'll manage the funding, capital, and liquidity strategy for Circle's corporate entities globally. You will also participate in the development of related policies and processes to ensure alignment with Treasury objectives, primarily as it relates to fiat and digital assets, and related to implications for the management of corporate capital and liquidity, and investment of corporate resources.
What you'll work on:
- Work directly with the Treasurer and CFO to align capital and liquidity strategies with business initiatives and growth plans. Lead the capital planning process, including forecasting, analysis, and optimization of the company's capital structure.
- Develop and implement liquidity management strategies to ensure the company meets its financial obligations while maximizing financial flexibility for Circle and consolidated entities globally.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and prepare capital and liquidity-related MIS, including cashflow forecasting and stress-testing, and reporting for senior leadership and global regulators.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for raising capital through debt and equity markets.
- Lead the planning, negotiation, execution, and management of financing transactions, including secured and unsecured credit facilities, equity issuances, share buybacks and other capital or hybrid capital programs.
- Work with Investor Relations to establish and maintain strong relationships with banks and rating agencies.
- Monitor market conditions to identify opportunities for financing at optimal terms and costs, and develop related hedging activities.
- Oversee compliance with all financial covenants, and regulatory capital and liquidity requirements for Circle globally
- Establish policies and procedures within Corporate Treasury, with appropriate redundancies to ensure resilience and efficiency in normal and stressed environments;
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing corporate treasury & capital markets execution team.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What you'll bring to Circle:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics,Computer Science or Business related field;
- 10+ years of progressively responsible positions in Treasury or other related Finance function (Treasury experience strongly preferred);
- Strong relationship management, cross-functional coordination, and communication skills in a remote, fast-paced fintech environment.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and use good judgment to establish order or priorities on the fly;
- Ability to work with and influence internal and external customers to resolve exception items and achieve organizational objectives on an expedient basis;
- Established ability to build new processes and workflows as needed;
- Proven success at identifying and documenting key performance and risk indicators and can develop meaningful and insightful management dashboards and reporting;
- Self-motivated and creative problem-solver.
- Experience/familiarity with Slack, Mac OSX and GSuite
- Comfort with AI and a proactive approach to leveraging AI-driven solutions in daily operations
- Understanding of tokenized financial instruments, blockchain technology, smart contracts, and on-chain operations (e.g., mint/burn, atomic swaps).
- Ability to thrive in a remote work setup while maintaining a high level of productivity and collaboration.
