We are seeking a proactive and strategic Director of Corporate Development to join our team. This role is responsible for driving the Company’s most critical strategic transactions, including identifying, evaluating, and executing joint ventures, partnerships, capital raises, mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and other growth initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Development, the Director will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the company, oversee major deal processes, and ensure long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in strategic planning sessions and execution of the overall corporate development strategy.
  • Evaluate partnership opportunities, equity raising alternatives, and strategic initiatives at the enterprise level.
  • Oversee the preparation of presentation materials for the Senior Management Team, Board of Directors, and current/potential investors.
  • Oversee and review financial models and valuation analyses to support executive decision-making.
  • Supervise and coordinate due diligence efforts across financial, operational, legal, tax, and market assessments.
  • Participate in negotiations and structuring of transactions, working closely with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with investment banks, advisory firms, and industry contacts to generate high-quality deal flow.
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, capital markets, investments, legal, and portfolio management to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Guide comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop the corporate development team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and integrity.
     
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading and executing complex M&A transactions and strategic partnerships.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Solid understanding of capital structure and financing alternatives.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and leadership in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
