The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Director, Content Strategist with a strong background in creative direction to lead the development of compelling, employee-focused content aimed at enhancing digital dexterity across the organization.
As the Content Strategist, you will oversee content creation, curation, and delivery to foster a digitally enabled workforce. You will collaborate cross-functionally to align content strategies with organizational goals, leveraging storytelling, design, and engagement tactics to inspire and educate employees.
Your responsibilities include:
- Shaping the digital future of a forward-thinking organization.
- Content Strategy Development: Design and execute a content strategy focused on empowering employees to embrace and excel in digital tools and technologies.
- Creative Direction: Provide a strong vision and guidance for the creation of innovative, visually engaging, and interactive content that resonates with diverse employee audiences.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Coordinate cross-team efforts with product owners, developers, designers, and communication specialists to produce high-quality materials. Collaborate with HR, Learning & Development, IT, and other departments to ensure content meets strategic goals.
- Content Creation and Curation: Oversee the production of a variety of formats, including videos, podcasts, articles, infographics, job aids, promotional content, interactive learning experiences, and more.
- Audience Analysis: Partner with research teams to understand the digital skill gaps and learning preferences of the workforce. Use insights to tailor content effectively.
- Measurement and Optimization: Implement metrics to assess content effectiveness, engagement, and impact. Continuously refine strategies based on feedback and data.
- Digital Literacy Advocacy: Serve as a champion for fostering a culture that values continuous learning and innovation in digital skills.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy, creative direction, or a related role.
- Proven ability to create and deliver innovative, multi-format content strategies that drive engagement and learning.
- Experience working in employee engagement, internal communications, or organizational development is a strong plus.
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and optimize content impact.
- Knowledge of digital tools, platforms, and trends with a passion for driving digital literacy.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
