We’re looking for a Director of Content & Communications to join our team:

At L2L, we’re reshaping the future of manufacturing by connecting people, data, and processes. As our Director of Content & Communications, you’ll develop, execute, and optimize a content strategy that drives measurable pipeline growth, brand awareness and thought leadership and. You’ll blend creativity with data-driven decision-making to craft stories that educate, inspire, and convert.

Top Outcomes You’ll Deliver:
  1. Develop, execute, and optimize a content and media relations strategy that builds demand, awareness, and authority.
  2. Produce high-quality, research-backed content that drives engagement across digital and non-digital channels.
  3. Strengthen L2L’s voice and leadership position through media relations, PR, corporate messaging, executive communications, and customer storytelling.
What You’ll Do:Content Strategy & Performance Optimization
  • Build and execute a content strategy aligned with business goals, buyer personas, and demand objectives. 
  • Maintain a content calendar balancing demand generation priorities and thought leadership.
  • Use analytics to measure performance, identify trends, and optimize for impact.
  • Refine brand voice and tone across all channels while staying agile and resourceful.
  • Manage a small team of content creators, freelancers, and creative partners while ensuring quality, alignment, and on-time delivery.
Media Relations, PR, Communications & Thought Leadership
  • Lead external communications, media relations, and speaking opportunities to grow brand visibility.
  • Build new and leverage existing media relations to optimize opportunities for media placements and ability to leverage external databases to expand L2L’s reach
  • Manage internal and executive communications; ghostwriting, board decks, and messaging.
  • Partner with leadership to position L2L as an industry thought leader through press, awards, and partnerships.
  • Leverage emerging formats such as video, multimedia, and AI tools to evolve storytelling and reach.
Customer Storytelling & Relationship Building
  • Create compelling, data-backed customer stories that demonstrate measurable impact.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and customers to uncover authentic, human-centered narratives.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on launch communications and case study development.
  • Use customer success stories across campaigns to strengthen brand credibility and support sales enablement.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 8+ years of experience in content marketing, communications, or brand strategy — ideally in B2B SaaS or industrial tech.
  • Proven track record developing content that drives awareness, engagement, and pipeline.
  • Extensive experience in media relations and public relations
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong editorial judgment.
  • Data-driven and detail-oriented — skilled at balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
  • Experienced in team leadership, agency or vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Curious, adaptable, and values-driven; aligned with L2L’s core values of Collaboration, Continuous Improvement, Ownership, and Positivity.
Preferred locations: 

L2L practices a remote-first approach while offering office space in Burlington, MA. Due to the collaborative nature of this role, we are looking for someone who can commute to the Burlington, MA office 1x per week.
