This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.
This newly created Director, Consultant Data & Content Operations role is responsible for building and leading a scalable process to ensure that consultant portals—across HarbourVest’s private funds and evergreen strategies—are consistently updated, accurate, and aligned with required reporting frequencies. The individual will work cross‑functionally with Consultant Relations, Investor Relations, Product Marketing, Client Operations, and other key teams to streamline information flows, optimize portal workflows, and build a team that supports high‑quality consultant data and content updates, enabling strong execution across consultant and commercial platforms.
Key responsibilities include:Consultant Portal Management:
- Lead the end-to-end process for updating consultant portals for assigned consultants across closed-end funds and open-ended funds in market.
- Ensure all required materials (performance data, marketing collateral, fund updates, DDQs, RFP content, operational disclosures, etc.) are uploaded accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain high-quality standards and version control, coordinating with subject matter experts across functions.
- Develop dashboards, trackers, and workflow tools to proactively monitor upcoming deadlines and request cycles.
Operational Efficiency & Systems Development:
- Build a scalable, repeatable operating model to manage consultant portals and commercial platform updates.
- Lead process redesign efforts aimed at reducing manual work, improving accuracy, and accelerating turnaround times.
- Assess third-party portal technology options and recommend enhancements.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Partner with Sales Enablement on RFP, RFI, and DDQ-related content needed for consultant portals.
- Work with Investor Relations, Product Marketing, Operations, Legal/Compliance, and Performance Measurement to source accurate materials.
- Coordinate with Marketing Compliance to ensure all uploaded content follows regulatory and SEC marketing guidelines.
Project Leadership & Communication:
- Communicate expectations clearly and ensure accountability for deliverables.
- Provide reporting and insights to leadership on portal performance and improvement opportunities.

What you bring:
- Strong project management skills with proven track record to lead concurrent workflows.
- Experience working with institutional investment consultants.
- Familiarity with RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, consultant updates, and related workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to synthesize information into clear outputs.
- Highly organized and operations-minded with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with RFP or content management tools (e.g., Loopio) a plus.
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in investment management, consulting, private equity, RFP/DDQ management, or similar functions.

Salary Range
$74,000.00 - $104,000.00This USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. In addition to salary and bonus, total compensation may include eligibility for long-term reward programs and a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Our total rewards offerings are influenced by several business factors, and eligibility for certain components will vary by position and geography. Please note the posted ranges do not apply outside the U.S. and should not be converted to other currencies as a proxy for compensation in other countries.
