As the Director. Communications and Digital Experience, you will shape how Locus Robotics shows up in the world. You will lead our external communications, PR and analyst relations, internal communications, and corporate content with a unified vision. You will define our narrative, guide how it appears across every channel, and balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. You will work closely with executives, product marketing, sales, customer teams, and external agencies to strengthen our market presence and deliver a consistent digital experience. This is a hybrid role based out our corporate headquarters in Wilmington, MA.  

Responsibilities 

  • Lead the corporate communications strategy and ensure a clear, consistent narrative across all channels.
  • Shape Locus Robotics’ external voice and guide PR, analyst relations, executive communications, and owned content.
  • Advise executive leaders on messaging, reputation, and market perception.
  • Manage agency partners with clear goals and accountability.
  • Partner with Marketing to run a strong analyst relations program and strengthen relationships with top industry analysts.
  • Drive a proactive PR program focused on storytelling, thought leadership, and media impact.
  • Own the strategy and performance of locusrobotics.com and ensure it delivers a high‑quality digital experience.
  • Oversee corporate content across the website, thought leadership, announcements, and core narratives.
  • Partner with digital, content, and creative teams to improve messaging, user experience, and site performance.
  • Lead internal communications that keep employees informed and aligned with company priorities.
  • Translate executive strategy into timely, clear internal updates.
  • Support executive communications through messaging, talking points, bylines, and presentations.
  • Ensure executives have strong, consistent narratives for media, analysts, customers, and partners.
  • Move quickly in a high‑growth environment and anticipate risks and opportunities.
  • Balance strategic planning with hands‑on execution to maintain momentum.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR, analyst relations roles.
  • Experienced in B2B technology, robotics, SaaS, or industrial automation.
  • Strong track record of building and leading a corporate communications strategy in partnership with external agencies.
  • Senior experience running analyst relations programs and preparing executives for high‑stakes briefings.
  • Proven PR expertise with success in proactive media outreach and narrative development.
  • Experience owning and improving a corporate website as a strategic digital experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead internal communications for fast‑growing organizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

    Additional Information 

    Locus Robotics is an equal opportunity employer. 

    The expected base salary range for this role is $140 - 190K annually, informed by external market data plus bonus and equity. Actual offers will depend on factors such as the candidate’s experience, education, training, key or critical skills, geographic location, and current market and business conditions.
